Part 2 is like watching resident evil 3. Fought many mobs (zombies) in the city and juggernaut (nemesis). Escaped into deeper floor (RPD) while getting chased by jugger. Found colloseum (underground facility) and fought many monster in there. Defeat jugger & being rescued by party (helicopter).

Its implied that it got weaker after the level up. It was less an upgrade and more a band-aid for the damage Bell did against it. It got more AoE attacks for sure, but it lost its speed. That and his weapons, despite the versatility was a downgrade damage wise to his claws. Idk if the anime expanded on it, but literally nothing could match that claw in a clash aside from god crafted weapons. The only reason Bell was able to fight at all was because his knife was made by Hephaestus herself and his scarf was made with the Black Goliath skin which was an abnormality in of itself

we got to season 4, no way they don't adapt the whole story at this point. It's got two, three seasons left at most, and as long as Danmemo keeps making money for them they'll keep churning out new Danmachi seasons. Plus they released a new game a month ago or so, so revenue keeps coming in. Next season's gonna be really nuts xD too bad we'll probably have to wait like 2 or 3 years until we get it since the end of that arc came out in Japan this January, it's too fresh. They won't be adapting it until the next arc is at least halfway through in the light novels.

It was such a good season that I am afraid Hestia or Aiz will never begin to compare in character to Ryuu. Ryuu is firmly cemented as my best girl in the series. Same with the arc itself. Can it ever be topped? I did personally find the first cour to be quite a bore (besides its final episodes), but the second cour blew me away harder than any previous arc in the series. The difference has to be that the second cour was an emotional endurance test from start to finish

The second cour hit different because it was extremely well executed and the source material for it was top notch, it being so emotional was just a part of it. They 100% nailed the shift in tone, and it was absolutely packed. Next to no filler, which is rare not just for Danmachi but for anime in general. What normally would have been filler was Ryu's backstory, which was both beautifully portrayed and absolutely key to what was happening with them at the moment. They really hit it out of the park.

I’m one of the biggest fans of danmachi out there and I’ve been waiting since march for the dub and every month or so I will take a break from anime to let stuff come out so I can watch it all. Well I started that break when part 2 had just started coming out and I was waiting for the dub and now that it’s finally coming out I’m waiting to watch this video until every episode has come out and been dubbed. In My Own View: Season 4 is “also” about Gluttony! Green Moss = Eats Crystal Drops from Dungeon Monsters. Juggernaut = Eats Adventurers and Dungeon Monster So far Season 4 is my all time favourite and RYUU❤ is the best lady partner for Bell in the romantic way and I like her a lot though I know well the author fixation to Ais Walashit is evident😂

And seeing her development from naive elf of justice to vicious revenge soaked killer to the broken woman on Floor 37 to...the true justice elf Alise saw when she sacrificed herself. Not a damsel in distress but, the very embodiment of power and character. Great story telling and so right that she got to kill the bastard monster at the end.

Question? How strong is the juggernaut? Both in it’s “Natural” and “Mutated” state? If the “Juggernaut” was strong enough to solo a “Lower Floor-Boss”, and “Ryu + Bell / Half-Dead” were able to solo the “Juggernaut” does that mean they could effectively solo a “Lower Floor-Boss” as well? I rarely pay close attention to “Power Levels”, but I feel like I’m missing something. Last season made a big show of how “Asterius” was going to be Bell’s ultimate rival. Now, I feel like Bell could easily solo the minotaur with little to no effort.

The Juggernaut is an anomaly that doesn't properly scale to anything. The fact that it started recklessly eating other monsters both helped its overall strength and shortened its life even further by basically giving it a magic cancer. So while it was strong enough to kill just about anything it ended up becoming slower. Had it been that slow to begin with Bell wouldn't have had as much trouble beating it.

Jugs did not solo the monster rex on that floor. The boss on that floor is a giant skeleton, Like a super buffed up spartoi. We assume Jugs managed to mutate in a way that gave him one of the same attacks that the floor boss had by eating untold amounts of spartoi. TL;DR Prime Jugs is probably a mid to high level 5 that just seems to be so much more effective because his build is incredibly specialized in speed and attack. The monster rex of the 38th floor is likely a mid to high level 6 threat **Sword Artoria Spoilers** The Rex, Udaeus, would likely no diff Jugs. Ais got her level up to 6 by soloing him. That might not sound like that big a deal since we are so used to Bell's insanely broken ass, But Ais is a pretty close runner up in that department. She fought him as a nearly peak level 5, With compounding points from nearly peak previous level stats, and bullshit op abilities that boost her even more. With all her hax, top tier gear, and even experience fighting the boss likely a couple times previously with her familia, the fight left her body mangled and on deaths door to a similar extent as Ryu and Bel. Meanwhile Jugs here got severely injured by two level 4's initially. His mutated form is weaker then his initial form but tries to compensate by giving him new attacks and abilities. Even his prime form would get stomped, Let alone this very gimped version of him

@@daandriod The Juggernaut also increases in power based on the Floor it's spawned on and how many adventures are on said floor at the time of spawning. So a Juggernaut on the 27th floor would be much weaker than one spawned on the 47th floor.

Take this version of Jugs against Amphisbena for example, And I think Amphi would take the win because Jugs insane agility and claws are kinda dunked on by the water heavily restricting his mobility and Amphis having a essentially one hit super wide range attack with the blue flames that don't burn out or get extinguished without special magic or items.

The rough approximation is that the Juggernaut is two levels higher than the strongest monster that spawns in a given floor (not counting floor bosses and irregulars). So, if floor 27 has lvl 4 monsters, the Juggernaut is roughly high lvl 5 - lvl 6

Since it is primarily short stories it will probably be skipped like Volume 8 (save the Hestia kidnapping story) was. @Shane Hudson ok. Spoilers Lili was the only member of Hestia Familia to level up, but I'm pretty sure Cassandra and Daphne did as well. Haruhime got closer and Welf and Mikoto got decent gains. I don't think it was said how much Aisha, Chigusa ot Ouka gained but they weren't close to leveling. Ryu's stat increase isn't shown to my memory but she was already at the level up point and her stats had not been updated in 5 years. Until she goes and sees Astrea her status won't change. Bell gained roughly 3500 points overall. Basically enough to level up at the B range, but Hestia doesn't want to do that for several reasons. One, Bell leveling up in a week would throw Orario into shock and the last thing he needs is more scrutiny. Also he is not only maxing but overmaxing his stats very quickly anyway. It makes no sense to move him to level 5 when within a few more weeks he will most likely be SS and SSS again. And he just got used to level 5. Adjusting to a new level that quickly would not be great coming off his very badly wounded arm and the trials he went through. Note these are just for volume 15. We have stats as of the end of 18 for Hestia Familia. And news of some others.
