It’s actually twice the length, not 3 times 😬 because one of the 3 layers when you fold it, is the height not the length x I only realised because I actually made one 3x the length and it was far too big 🤣 then when I read watched the video, I saw where I went wrong 😑 hope this helps someone else and saves them from doing the same as me 🤣 great little pumpkin tutorial though! Thank you 😊

@@paulodonnell3439 aw! i first started a couple of weeks ago and i had the same issue - i suggest starting with something easy like a hat or head ban to get used to making the stitched first then come back and try again! it made a huge difference for me! good luck!

Oh my goodness gracious! This was soooo easy and fun to make! Though it did take me a couple hours, the results were priceless! I always check out Belle Coco’s videos first when I need a crochet tutorial, her videos are so easy to follow, and give the perfect step-by-step instructions! Thanks so much for this clear and understandable video! I am used to working in the round (amigurumi) so turning was a bit confusing and I'd end up with slanted ends. I just finished mine and (without counting breaks) it only took me about 45min to make! I love it and it turned out absolutely wonderful! My tips would be to be careful at the beginning and ends of rows, as it can be easy to accidentally drop a stitch. I dropped off one somewhere, but it still turned out perfect- so don’t worry if you do! And while she suggests using more stitches/rows to get different sizes, just using a larger size yarn worked for me! I used an 8.00mm hook with appropriately sized yarn, and followed her pattern exactly, and my pumpkin turned out to be about six inches across and four inches tall, give or take depending on how it gets squished, haha!
