Yeah I hear Joey about Craig being so great turning Jerome from fullback to a great half. There’s also another coach that coached Locky into being one of the best fullbacks for consecutive years and then switched into becoming one of the best five-eighths ever and future immortal. When was the last time a team went to the grandfinal 5 consecutive years in a row, won 3 straight and will potentially win a forth.. For me, all that John's just said about Bellamy, I would say about Ivan Cleary. He's Mr cool, calm and collected and has achieved what Craig Bellamy has done in a shorter time span.! I think Ivan deserves greatest coach of the last decade at least. If there's anything negative Id say about Ivan, and it's not really his doing... was that he left the Warriors to head home to Aus.!

Bellamy got caught cheating the salary cap,has introduced so many dangerous tackles into the game and the storm even celebrate the premierships they were stripped of.....Cleary has never got caught cheating and has taken his team to 5 grand finals in a row,might win 4 in a row,showed us arguably the best defensive side of all time.Both are great but you judge from the facts and these are the facts

Not a Storm fan, but to be fair, it was the committee and back-room boys who set up the salary cap cheating. Bellamy had no knowledge, even some of the players who were being paid overs thought their team-mates must be on lower wages. Players were forbidden to discuss what they were paid, with the press, the coach and each other. I can even understand why the players still count the GF's they were stripped of, but I'd never give them back. Let them suffer.

Bellamy has been stripped of as many premierships as he’s won. Currently his record is two from nine. A lot of his win/loss rate stands, despite achieving it with a mostly illegal roster. Cleary is 3/4 Robinson also has 3. They’re all still catching up with Wayne’s 7/9. It’s been a long while for WB, but on numbers, it’s no contest 🤷‍♂️

Bellamy won 2012, 2017 and 2020. He was stripped of 2. He is 3 from 9. Still a good record. Also Bellamy has made finals every year except for 1 over a 20 year career (most of those above 6th spot). Bennett is nowhere near that.

Look at Roosters, they've had the most stacked list for 10 years now and keep somehow finding space in their sombrero....I mean cap. At the end of the day, he wasn't in charge of player contracts, he didn't sign it all, he knew about it, but he was literally just doing his job.....Be the coach.

Players and coaches aren't the ones who planned to cheat the system. Its the management and whoever is in charge of player contracts amd recruitment. Besides that point, after the cap Bellamy still took the Storm to 6 GF's which is still very impressive

Players that have left Storm that either stayed the same or got better. Cronk, Jeremy Smith, Inglis, Tagataese, Tolman, Maloney, Widdop, Tohu Harris, Mann, Drinkwater, Tino and Hynes. 12 from nearly 200 players. Great effort from the Goat coach.

Jordan McLean played 6 Aussie tests when he was at the Storm and only 1 when he was with Cowboys. Storm Folau was 100 times better than Broncos Folau. Craig Smith and Lazarus didnt play under Bellamy lol and Robbie Ross, Robbie Kearns and Matt Geyer retired after Bellamys first few years. King, Johnson and Croker played their best at the Storm. Ill give you Bell and Atkinson who played better when they left.

@@khankake9576 Robinson doesn't have to operate under the salary cap unlike the rest of the league. Even so, he's only three wins in 11 years with a roster that should be unbeatable. And he had a real coach in Fitzgibbon alongside him in 2018 and 2019.
