People have different levels of resistance to the Blight. In the Dalish origin story, the main character can travel across much of Ferelden while infected, and you encounter at least two Blighted dwarves in the Deep Roads. Tamlen retains his consciousness for a long time too. And Avernus, but he's a weird one. At the end of the game, i'm not sure if Bellara is totally cure or if she become something like the grey warden

More specifically, it’s where the blight was sealed away. And the blight corrupted the magisters who then brought the blight back with them

To awnser you: It's gone. Kinda. No. They got infected when they released Solas from the his Fade prison, we're he kept the Evanuris and the Blight locked up.
