I really admire your blending technique because it always looks like it can belong in a home, not a costume design set. some people do it a little too much with the light and shadow effect, which makes it look a bit kitschy and costume design-y. and yours is the perfect amount 🌿. I can feel a lot of heart and thought (not to mention Skill) put into the subtleness of layers.

I am doing a large hutch in Black and Red, my top color will be Black with some Red popping through. Hi Stacey!! Okay so here is the in depth tutorial , it’s the same exact technique on a different piece from the set :) I have one brush for each color and the last one is just a clean dry brush to feather it all.
