thanks for the review. I used to carry the Brown Buffalo Conceal backpack for 2 years not. The backpack was awesome but it is bigger for my EDC needs so I will be considering the Bellroy Classic Backpack!

Great review! Have you successfully tried fitting a small water bottle in the front zip compartment? The only thing holding me back from getting this is the lack of water bottle access but the front pocket might do the trick in a pinch.

I'm glad the video was helpful! and yes I was able to fit the red water bottle I had in the main compartment into the front zipper pocket as well so that can be another solution that would work for holding a similarly sized bottle. I really like this backpack but I wish it would have an additional laptop compartment like the classic plus. Unfortunately the plus one is in my opinion too big for my daily use, so this one would be perfect if it had the same organisation as it’s bigger brother

Thank you for watching! Unfortunately the bag doesn't really stand up super well on its own and even though the material on the bottom feels pretty durable I wouldn't call it super padded. Loved your review! I don't think I've heard you mention anything related to it, but is the blacked out nylon version that you have on your video water resistant? I'm contemplating on getting either the Black version or the Ash one. I've seen a review of the Ash version and the water resistance of the bag seems to do well, so I would like to know if the Black version has water resistance as well (sorry if I sound redundant). Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful! The nylon material on the version I used in this video does have a nice amount of water resistance! The zippers for the main area and front quick access pocket don’t have aqua guards but they do have a flap that covers them to help add some additional procreation there as well. Thank you for watching! Unfortunately of those bags I have only used the bellroy, but based on my experience with other Thule bags I would say that would hold up well and come in maybe at a slightly lower price point but overall I prefer the style and comfort of the bellroy :)

I prefer the laptop sleeve on this one and I feel it’s going to be a little better for a professional environment but I think the able carry is a little more weather resistant and maybe better for the outdoors. Thank you for watching and tough choice between these two! I think both will be comfortable with a heavy load but the material on the tech pack 2 will be a little more breathable for hotter weather. Besides that I think it depends which organizational style you prefer. The tech pack 2 has many different pockets (including an external water bottle pocket) where as the bellroy is pretty simple and it is not as rigid and won’t be able to stand up as well on its own. @@dannypacks I was thinking about the Mystery Ranch Prizefighter backpack, but the grey color on the straps ruined the look for me and the logo is too big. Out of all the research I've done, Bellroy is the best EDC backpack to get. You should also review the ISM backpack. It looks more professional. I've been switching between Bellroy and ISM.

Some of the ones that initially come to mind are the Brevite Jumper and Moment MTW backpack as they really look like regular backpacks that happen to have camera gear accessories / organization. I have recently been testing the Vanquest trident 21 which is also a pretty solid camera bag (although it has a pretty tactical look) and beyond that if you want to use something like a bellroy or evergoods bag and pair it with a third party camera cube it can work pretty good as well
