Hey man! Great content! The review was very helpful. I do have a question though: is the magnetic strap that goes between the straps (on your chest) removable? I mean, if I don't want to wear it can I remove it from both straps and put it away. I know this is not a common question but I personally don't like the look of it.

Bellroy backpack plus or aer flight 2? Torn between the two. I also wonder if I could just got off the briefcase handle that sticks out on the aer flight 2. Primarily use backpack style bags.
@dannypacks5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and good question! Both are great bags and although I really like that the flight pack has an external water bottle pocket and I like the look a little bit more (except for the handle as well haha) I think the bellroy Classic Plus is the better all around Backpack. it is more comfortable to wear due to the padding it has on the back and I really like how the organization is laid out in the bellroy. The balance of pockets and space is great and I think the laptop pocket also provides more padding on the bellroy. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag :)

Should I buy a premium Ver. classic backpack or the standard one?
@dannypacks5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! I haven’t had a chance to test the premium version out, but I think that will depend how much you prefer the leather over the nylon material. I think the leather looks nice, but personally I prefer the nylon as I feel like I don’t have to quite as careful with the material haha :)

Good review!! Can you tell me if this bag can stand up on its own when you set it down?
@dannypacks6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! Although you might be able to organize your things in such a way that it could sometimes standup on its own, I would say that most of the time it will not stand up and you would need to set it against a wall or something like that. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag =)

Traveling Salseros Thanks for the info. Can this pack hold more than the Able Carry pack? I recently purchased one of those and love the sleek aesthetic of the pack, but it’s seemingly a lot smaller than what I would’ve considered for 20 liters. I’m looking now at the Bellroy Classic Plus (although they’re out of stock of the black color unfortunately), and possibly the Aer Day Pack, but thinking that might be just as small as the Able Carry. Any thoughts or recommendations are appreciated.

I care a lot about my laptop - would you recommend this backpack or should I go for Bellroy Campus because of it's suspended laptop pocket? Which one provides more protection within laptop compartment?
@dannypacks4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and good question! That’s tough since I think the compartment on this one is better padded all around but just not suspended which is sad. So for me personally I still prefer the laptop pocket on Bellroy Classic (I think it’s similar to the campus bag?) because having the laptop be suspended is pretty important to me but it still also offers a decent amount of padding and a fleece lining. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer!:)

Hi how would you compare this to the Incase compass? This is much more expansive than the Incase compass. I really the bellroy but the price difference is alot. So I was wondering if it’s worth it. (Also this bags can’t stand on it’s own but incase can, and incase has a very comfy plush faux-fur lined laptop compartment)
@dannypacks5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! Both bags are great but there is a pretty big difference in the build quality. The bellroy bag feels much more durable, it’s more comfortable, and it feels like it can hold a little more. For its price the Incase compass works great but I think the price difference is understandable and the bellroy will hold up better over time in my opinion. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags :)

Hey man, love your reviews! Im looking for an office/gym edc bag that can also function as a weekend bag for a couple of clothes. Im between two bags. Both you have reviewed. Which is a better bag, the one plus travel bag or this one? Not factoring the cost. Just purely the bag astetics coupled with functionality.
@dannypacks5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! This one feels much more durable and I really like how the organization is laid out. I feel like the one plus might be able to hold a little more if you’re looking for a weekend bag (since it just has one pretty large main compartment it’s great for sticking a packing cube into) and it’s a little lighter but I don’t think it will hold up as well over the longer term. They are both pretty comfortable to wear but I slightly prefer the feeling of the bellroy and as for the looks it’s pretty close as well (I would lean a little more towards the bellroy here but they look pretty different so I imagine opinions will vary widely on this point haha). So if you want the better overall daily bag that’s gonna last a longer time I would go with the bellroy and of you really care about having enough space for weekend travel the one plus might be a little easier to use. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags:)

Traveling Salseros Thanks for replying! Ill be going with the bellroy! Ill just get some air reducing packing bags and i think that will make the difference. Totally like the extra organization for typical edc in the the bellroy! So if it has similar capacity and the bellroy seem more durable then its a no brainer! I definitely like the style more. Great channel man!

Hi, great content! If I’d like to carry an iPad Air 10” would it be able to fit it with a laptop in the laptop dedicated pocket?
@dannypacks4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I’m glad the video was helpful! Depending on how thick your laptop is and if you put a thick case on your iPad I think it could likely fit, the only thing is there is no divider in the compartment to separate the two devices. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag!:)

Hey man, great review! In your opinion, not considering the price, do you prefer the Aer Day Pack or Bellroy Classic Plus? Just to clarify, I already have a Day Pack and I am thinking of an alternative due to limited space.
@dannypacks5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I like the look of the day pack more but as far as space and organization I do prefer the classic plus. It does offer a little more space than the day pack and I really like how the pockets are laid out. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag!:)

I have the grey version of this and it feels like a tough rugged nylon/cordura like fabric. Different colors use different materials I guess, mine felt like nothing remotely close to polyester
@dannypacks6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! and i agree that the material felt more rugged than any polyester I have seen in bags in the past, however the material that Bellroy lists on their site for each of the colors is venture-weave polyester, maybe this is a newer and more durable type? Either way the bag still feels great and like it will last! =)

Would you recommend this, Aer day pack 2, or the aer tech pack 2? I love this bag but am #1 concerned a new one will soon come out, and #2 it doesn’t have a water bottle holder. I will be using it for school.
@dannypacks4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice! Since this is for school I would say the day pack 2 might be a little limited in capacity if you have to carry folders or books. Both the Tech pack 2 and the bellroy will be great, for me I like the internal organizational layout of the bellroy but overall I like the tech pack 2 a little bit more as it is a little more comfortable, it has the external water bottle pocket and luggage pass through and I like the aesthetic a little bit more. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags!:)

Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! and thats a good question and there are definitely some good options available, in addition to this bag here, i would recommend taking a look at the aer fit pack 2 and aer duffel pack 2, the recycled firefighter 24 hour backpack, the Lenovo Passage backpack, the timbuk2 Uptown or Command backpacks, or maybe even something like the oneplus travel backpack. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags =)

How would you compare this to the Aer Day Pack? Which would you prefer for everyday wear?
@dannypacks6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and good (and tough haha) question! I really like using both of these! I would say that this one is going to offer a little more space and organizational options, and as I mentioned during the video its pocket layout is one of the best that I have seen. Also, I think the laptop protection is better on this bag. However, I prefer the look of the Aer day pack and I also think its a better deal as its a good amount cheaper, its just as comfortable (maybe even a little more) to wear, and I feel like the materials used on the day pack will hold up better to water. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags =)

180 for 3 yr warranty... i think Bellroy can do better. Got mines for 152 after tax. Hopefully it lasts longer than 3 yrs. at this price range theres other brands that offer lifetime warranty. never had a bag w/o water bottle holder so lets see how this works out in practice. Ill be super pissed if it falls apart after warranty period. Smells a little like planned obsolescence. Cmon bellroy LIFETIME WARRANTY.
@dannypacks5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and that’s a good point! At that price it definitely feels like a lifetime warranty would be fair. I have used a few bellroy products and they’ve held up well so far but it would be nice to have the additional peace of mind over the longer term!

really really digging this bag but im afraid im not tall enough for it, i am just over 5'7 so i think it would land on my butt?
@dannypacks5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and good question! The bag might look a little big and it will likely go down pretty low maybe past your waist. It might be worth checking out their New Classic backpack which has a pretty similar look, but it is about 2.4 inches shorter. On Bellroy's site there is a picture of someone around 5'8" so it might help give an idea of how the bag would look. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag =)
