Awesome review! I've got these exact ones and the official stand. Their stand is flat so the weights possibly sliding down isn't an issue.

no problem at all, I don't mind sharing - I have been living with a inguinal hernia for the past 5 years, It happened when i used to hop around to those beach body videos (the beast I think it was ;) and not taking form and bracing into consideration, just trying to keep up with the video (huge mistake) I had been wearing a hernia belt ever since to hold in my guts and the tare just kept getting bigger and bigger, it was finally time to resolve it. (Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair) (the take away is move at your own pace and take form into consideration, no matter what you are doing!!

Is the knurling on yours actually pretty good? I just picked up a pair of these from BOS and the knurling looks/feels almost flat and the surface doesn't feel all that grippy. When I tired the chrome ones in the store a couple months ago they felt a lot more solid in the hands.

Do not get these, have had mine a year and have one handle break. They sent a replacement and that broke in two weeks. I have been waiting for another replacement for over 3 weeks and they keep saying they are backorded. These things are junk.

@@CurlsintheRack The will not adjust lower than 20lbs, they just jam up. Still waiting on them to ship my handle from Jan 23rd.

Just had a handle break at near the one year mark also. The top number and bottom number are out of sync and the handle is bulged. Something sheared inside. Nuobell says this can only happen if they are dropped, but I have never dropped them. The said they would send me handle if I paid shipping and would never cover it again, even though I still have a year of warranty left. If I had known that they cheaped out on the internal construction (almost all plastic), I would not have spend such a fortune on them.
