the green vines stand out on the red cloth because they're complementary colors! or the opposite of each other, which usually work really well in making a contrast!

So beautiful. This year with the quarantine, it's being a little harder to think in Beltane and this inspired me to start decorating mine ^^ Bb

That's A beautiful setup for A Beltane Altar, my favorite piece is the antler wand. My Altar space is the highest point in my room, symbolism for respect.

Hard to believe Beltane is almost upon us. I do need to set mine up later this week. I remember being in 2nd grade and doing the Maypole in gym class. couldn't get away with that now! Sad, really, because that was my first recognition of who I am. Thanks for the memory. Creative Blessings ~Rain

@@HearthWitch ah yessss! That was brilliant! SOooo cool that Olivia and Dylan reached out! The video itself was so much better than the buzzfeed kinds of videos that always surface. I thought it was so honest and the creator seemed so genuinely interested - especially when Dylan was explaining things to her. Very different to that awful Telegraph article a few months ago - that was infuriating!! Stay well sweetie Xx

Hearth this is fabulous I'd love to hear your thoughts on how you honor the Gods and Goddesses for Beltane and if you leave libations or do anything special or different for things
@andruid50544 жыл бұрын
I think altars are all down to personal taste and what you require,by getting ideas off others that feel right to you it can improve it. Personally mine never changes. I follow a Northern European path a mixture of Druidry and Asatru and I don't go for all these type of things,my alter is on a shelf on a bookcase,i have a white candle,an offering bowl an insence holder,and a few photos of my family and friends that have passed and that's it,it's just simple and basic,I have never been interested in too much Bling, But as you say it's your altar and you love it,that's all that matters

I haven’t yet set mine up yet, but I hope to have rose quartz chips, a red chime candle as it is the only one I have right now, dried rose petals, dried lavender, my cauldron and wand. I like the idea of including ribbon as well. I might have some in my craft supplies to use.

I only own 4 crystals, and I lost my most precious amethyst a few years ago, it was shaped in a love heart and my dad gave it to me. I was really sad. I’m not quite sure how to do an altar.
@sarahu.384 жыл бұрын
Aww, that's sad to hear you lost your amethyst. Perhaps you can replace it energetically by writing a letter of gratitude to your dad, not necessarily about the amethyst, but just in general? Just an idea!

Please Do not slow down, especially on a live stream, you would not be able to get through much, of the queries, and that means that we would lose a lot of advice from you, and you do a stunning job, Thank You

I’m probably going to end up stealing like half of your ideas... In other news, I accidentally spent an hour sitting in a tree today because I don’t have a life. I also love Beltane, except for the mosquitoes. Eostre is another nice one because usually it’s warm but not too warm.
