The start button and no analog rev counter anymore. Everything else is better. (Better front and rear bumper) (I put that in () because it’s subjective), new headlight design and technology with independant LED (one of the best headlight technology on the market today), better chassis and suspension tuning, BIGGER ENGINE (that’s what everyone want when all brands are doing downsizing) + monoturbo instead of biturbo so a better sound because less muffled. crazy race car derived hybrid system which weigh only 50kg which is better than everyone else and don’t interfere with the driving experience, it’s even add sensation because it’s like a F1 KERS system and not a plug-in hybrid for emissions, New e-turbo technology with new innovation that even F1 don’t have at the moment, no turbolag anymore, performance increased by a lot ( less than 3s 0-62 and 9 seconds quicker around the nurb, it’s faster than an M4 CSL which is a 992 GT3 rival normally) And even with all that evidence, you are capable of saying you don’t’ understand how the car can be more expensive, it’s pretty crazy honestly

And as for the tachometer, theyve gone digital. That's not a big enough concern. The front of the car does look off tho. The vents aren't ideal
@doctorj71128 ай бұрын
I agree with all your comments. TO have a push button WITHOUT the key on a 911 just seems sac religious. Also, the taycan digital display mutes the look so much. The mixed digital with the tac center was one of the BEST interior designs. When these dealers get to these new allocations and market adjustments, these cars will start at 200k. They'll be priced to the MOON. 166 base price for a GTS?? A highly specced 991 GTS was in the LOW 130s, and here the new one starts 30k higher and we aren't even 10 years later.

Not interested in a hybrid 911 and it's obvious it is done per government regulations and NOT making the car more performance enhancing. There will be a nightmare of technical problems if one electric engine has any issues. BMW is seeing this with the electric "helper engine" in the ZF transmission. One problem and the entire vehicle is bricked and needs flatbed to the dealership. Obviously the last great modern 911 in style, build quality and performance is the 991.2. Each generation seems to get watered down by outside influences from Porsche that intrudes on design and even build quality. The tachometers display were hidden via steering wheel hence i accept it . Yes the front end gets looks odd ..functional sure shark like aggressive sure but i like the base Carrera front with sports package or no package

Why don't they just poll 911 owners what they want it to look like. Porsche is afraid of them.

I can understand the hybrid to reduce total brand emissions but why cheap out on the interior?😢😅

While I do appreciate the front “teeth” that are functional, I don't think most people will even push the car to that limit. Hope that they make whatever that is an option on the Aerokit and keep the old front bumper on the GTS

Very busy front and back ... not so settle tbh ... starter switch is ungly, analog tachometer was one of the best features, now it's gone .. love the red dot on the booster button

Only thing i hate about the interior is that there is no analog rev counter and the start stop twist other than that its the same

I actually much prefer the new rear, the line separation actually makes it appear lower imo

Cost cutting on a premium product but still increase the price? Pure arrogance

I agree COMPLETELY. Interior - dashboard + front and back are worse. Looks like cost cutting

Turbo lag is not good for managing power especially on a twisty road. Sure if you like turbo kick get something else. The electric motor in the turbo is genius. Personally I prefer N/A but this will pretty much solve the turbo lag issue. The rear end looks far better. Not a big fan of vertical slats and digital tachometer. Other than that I’d definitely choose the new GTS over the previous version. I don’t car it has some ev components the way they have adopted them.
