When the soundtrack of the JANIS documentary was released , we finally had a quality version of her live show with the KOZMIC BLUES guys . Decades later , the suits gave up a similar set as played at the Woodstock Festival of August 1969 . I dont really care for how the horns sound on some of these songs , but Janis is singing real well , and I do like the strongest parts of the show . JOPLIN IN CONCERT has most of the 1970 live set .
