I flew into Reno than drove to Vegas a couple years ago. Then drove from Vegas to lake tahoe and then back to Reno to fly back to Florida. Amazing experience.

Did the drive once 10 years ago when I moved from Seattle to Las Vegas. Looks like I missed out quite a bit, but I was focused on getting to my destination ASAP. Perhaps some day I might drive to Reno again.

My wife and I are driving this route soon, but have time constraints so I won’t be able fully immerse ourselves in it as we’d like. But it all looks beautiful!

What a fun video I'm enjoying all the out-of-the-way places that you guys go to! Also you both are excellent photographers. New subscriber.

Hi Kristin. As a fellow Renoite, I've been on this route to Vegas many times and I think you captured the essence of rural Nevada. It is certainly creepy and interesting at the same time. The people who live in these remote old towns are a different breed also. The one thing you didn't emphasize was the distances between places. Nevada is huge and there is a lot of driving. I think Nevada has enough junk to completely fill a few small states. Nothing is ever thrown out. It is just left to rot and rust by the roadside. Cheers!

Thank you so much, and I appreciate you pointing out the distance - something I will definitely keep in mind in my future videos. Cheers :)

Thanks for the tour. I didn't know much about rural Nevada given how remote and unpopulated it is. Looks like a really interesting area.

I used to stay in twenty nine palms there also is a lot of Joshua trees there anyways in the winter it’s not uncommon to be in shorts and a tank top during the day sweating your ass off and then bundled up at night because it’s snowing. Gnarly how the Desert can be..

Another great content. It aint weird. Its totally unique. Each place you visited looks like a set in a Hollywood movie. Like a scene shot in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie😁. I like it. Its worth taking a vacation compared to staying in modern cities. Hope theres more to come😆

Yes more to come! Glad you liked it!

I’m hoping to cycle this on a Brompton and do some wild camping along the route. 40 hours of cycling in total. Quite dangerous I think, so it’d take some clever planning.

I'm getting ready to dry this ride in May, I am leaving from my doorstep, & heading to SR 431, to Geiger Grade, to 6 Mile Canyon Rd, to OLD Fort Collins Rd, is this the route you took? I'm planning on trying to do a speed run, but on an ebike when I need an extra push, trying to do it in 18-20 if possible. If you guys ever come to ride it again you got a parking spot if you drive or a place to crash, I'm gonna put myself on Warm Showers soon to give back to people will help me in the future. "Was" planning on riding the Tahoe Twirl, but they banned ebikes on most the trail now, I can understand the dirt bike ones like SurRon but what about people who are disabled, & this is their only way to see it....😢
