New Mexico is such an underrated gem of a state! Despite the poverty and drug issues, the people are some of the best. Add some unbelievable scenery, rugged terrain, and amazing food, and you’ve got something special. Thanks for this video! Hope to be back in NM soon!

The thing that's always kept me from new Mexico. Is I've heard and read the crime rate is out of hand. And there's a good chance you're gonna get back to the parking lot and your ride will be gone. Same with southern Colorado. Might have to take one of the beaters down so if it get stolen so what. Great video thanks for sharing.

Next time give Gallup a chance. It has a better concentration of restaurants and local scenery. Shiprock, church rock, Ramah, Zuni, acoma Pueblo and Navajo Nation. All other states claim diversity but NM is diverse by default. I lived in and stayed in several states and if your a different color it's segregated or looked down upon. In New Mexico it's kinda were all here, were all American, so deal with it. Love all of New Mexico the original badlands of America.

I guess it's a decent place to visit but definitely not to live here. Poor educational system, high crime, low paying jobs, horrible policing, worst roads on earth, poor infrastructure, just to name a few. If your willing to trade a fun day trip for a lifetime of misery then this is your place. That being said, this was a fantastic video review. Well done.
