Wait, that was foreshadowing? I could've sworn I watched this episode AFTER the Store 23 episode when I initially watched Omniverse (since I only watched a few episodes here and there back in the day, since as a kid I didn't understand that the different art style didn't mean it was a reboot, and that the show in fact actually was a continuation to Ultimate Alien like I wanted, though can you blame me for being confused? One of the first few episodes of Omniverse have a flashback to the Classic Series era with Ben using an alien he never had in the Classic Series!!! And as a kid that shit made me assume the show was 100% it's own "similar" continuity, cuz I guess I wasn't "aware" enough to realize that flashback took place after Classic but before Alien Force in the gap of time following the end of Classic and Ben removing the watch, but c'mon man that shit wasn't obvious, they never were like "Guys, this is ELEVEN year old Ben, not Ten year old Ben! So it's fine we're not contradicting anything!" They just showed us young Ben with an alien he NEVER had in Classic and assumed we know what was going on, and while NOW I know they explained that was 11 year old Ben and not his 10 year old self, but that first couple episodes with zero explanation was enough for me to stop caring about the new show as a kid, and I was in like the target demographic as I couldn't have been older than 12 when it was initially airing, but still it's just like man even as a kid the canon defying additions and retcons to previously established stuff in Ben 10 created a real disconnect in my mind between the shows, to the point where i even thought Omniverse was an entire reboot!!! Like Man that says more than enough to convey how much they drastically changed details between shows where even as a dumb kid I noticed something was off and the pieces just didn't "connect"/"link together" perfectly 🤣, though after actually watching the show as a teen/young adult I gotta say Omniverse is some of the best the Ben 10 Franchise has to offer, the animation is a lot less stiff/lazy than Ultimate Alien was and the multiple designs for the background aliens goes a long way in making the species Ben uses feel like an actual species and not just a transformation unique to him, like I always hated it when random aliens that happened to be the same species in UAF looked EXACTLY like Ben's versions, like that stuff always feels lazy and makes ZERO sense, atleast with Diamond head and Tetrax in Classic you could theorize that Tetrax was the DNA donor of the Petrosapien DNA in the Omnitrix, or that he just happened to look like what a "Peak" Male Petrosapien would look like, explaining why him and Ben's transformation look identical, but that excuse obviously can't work with every alien Ben meets in UAF who share a species with one of his transformations

Maybe tree nuts don't do anything, but different types of pulses(the edible seeds of legumes, the plant family including peanuts) do. Peas, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, black beans, peas, lima beans, black-eyed peas, soybeans, lentils, and others could all have different powers associated with them, maybe from some chemical in them which is like a steroid on Trombipulor's home planet. Since kidney beans can be toxic if not cooked properly, maybe eating them gives Trombipulor skin like a poison dart frog that he can use to incapacitate or knock out his opponents.

Again, there is no indication he ate them at any point before this. And yeah, I remember that Humongousaur casually defeats him in Special Delivery, which is stupid. But really in that episode Ben casually defeat an entire army of villains who otherwise would cause him problem individually. It's just a classic Conservation of Ninjutsu situation that we see often in cartoons, I don't think it's worth trying to look for huge explanations about it. HEck you can just explain it by Ben having improved since last time he fought him. I guess the point I am trying to make is stop trying to be so overly defensive of OV. It's okay to acknowledge something has flaws while still liking it, and you're not gonna convince anyone who already dislike the show like me to like it any better by constantly trying to justify everything.

UA implied he needed Ultimate Echo Echo to be defeated, upon realizing this I no longer have any issue with Ben having trouble defeating his normal self. Uh... you do realize Zombozo actually did managed to give troubles to Ben individually at least twice (including once in an OV episode that takes place after this) and it was implied for some reason in the OV premiere that Ben wouldn't have caught him without Gwen's and Kevin's help, right? I know his threat level is somewhat inconsistant and he's more a mastermind type than a physical threat, but a bit weird to take him as an example of "harmless villain". Well I stand by my point that trying to defend every little thing like this doesn't contribute anything. You're not making me dislike OV any less, quite the opposite in fact; you're making it harder for me to get over my hatred. Again, it's fine to acknowledge that the show has flaws, no show is flawless. I absolutely love the AUF era, but I recognize it had some problems, such as some villains not quite matching their original selves, Vilgax losing his luster, or Ben's frustrating regression past the Highbreed arc. Meanwhile, if you paid attention to my comments, you'd notice I do concede Kuro a point whenever he gives praises to OV I agree with.

My brother definitely took notice of this and we bonded a lot over watching UAF, while my sisyer kinda teased us for liking it. THANK YOU for finally pointing out what I have been trying to tell people for years: just because Ben 10 is a scifi show with magic doesn't justify doing looney tunes logic! I am so sick of people trying to say the show can get anyway with any bullshit it wants because of the supension of disbelief. I admit I personally absolutely hate this episode -in fact this was the first episode I genuinely hated rather than just disliked or liked. Trumbipulor was a stupid concept of a villain for me and I had no desire to see him again, and while I'll concede that it kinda makes sense that he's this strong, seeing Ben *with Plumber backup* struggle against him kinda feels ridiculous to me. And glad for you if you ended up liking Blucik and Driba but personally I could never stand them after seeing how irresponsible and stupid they act in this episode. Guess first impressions do a lot. I prefer this episode to other Blukic and Driba one where they got to Area 51, but still, I never really cared for this one. Mainly because I don't find Blukic and Driba to be that funny, but hey, it was nice to see Trombipulor come back, and I think they did him better in this series than in UA. Elevated by Erica Bauza giving another great performance.

This is on the bottom tier of episodes I like in Omniverse. I don't mind Blukic and Driba in small dose, but this episode plot really doesn't do much to show of their comedic banter.

Personally I don't care for this episode because I don't really like blugitch and driba( I don't know if I spelled that right and to be honest I don't care) personally I find them to be really annoying occasionally they can be funny but they're not like Beavis and Butthead where there stupidity and gimmicks are all that funny. I feel like they work better as Side characters that show up for an occasional bit rather than having a huge amount of focus put on them.

They’re like the Minions, entertaining enough when supporting a larger story with the other characters but when they have to carry the a-plot, you get the idiot Galvan version of Minions.

@@theamazingspooderman2697 Did you read my comment? They’re tolerable in small doses but incredibly frustrating when the sole focus of the A plot. Like what people said about the Minion movies. You can’t always have the comic relief lead a story without expanding beyond them as comic relief.
