Eatle's first apparence shows that now It's no longer a big deal when Ben gets a new alien. From now on when we see a new alien we can assume that it was unlocked by UAF Ben 10,000 (since in his episode he said he put some new ones in the Ultimatrix) and with that excuse they won't have to leave a mystery of how Ben unlocked new forms, like how happened with Eye Guy.

7:58 I know we've seen so much character development since the start of Alien Force for Kevin, but I absolutely love what he says in this scene. Seeing him so considerate, even if its for his girlfriend, is so nice to see when you remember how greedy and evil he used to be.

The original creators wanted to do a Lovecraft type story with Vilgax, and this was their chance. The name Dagon and the fact that he looks squid-like come straight out of one of Lovecraft's stories. So don't think of Dagon as just a mythical creature that looked like a dragon, think of him as an actual god that takes different forms but is primarily a squid-like thing.

Not so much the original creators but the UAF crew, the Vilgax/Lovecraft storyline was their original plan for Alien Force Season 3. Although while inspired by Lovecraft the Ben 10 version of Dagon has more in common with Yog-Sothoth than the actual Lovecraftian Dagon.

Crazy episode! The dagon arc us pretty divisive but I personally love how many layers it has with do many factions clashing. Eatle's introduction is unfortunately quite random. He was unlocked by Ben 10k alongside fasttrack. He's a personal favorite of mine even if this episode doesn't do him justice

That's like saying Humungousaur is just the same as Four Arms. Eatle is physically stronger, more durable and faster than Upchuck. While Upchuck can eat more things and faster, Eatle can eat less and shoot more powerful longer ranged attacks. Both Eatle and Upchuck have their differences like how Four Arms is more agile like a kick boxer while Humungousaur is more stronger like a Heavyweight Strong Man. Fasttrack is also stronger and more durable than XLR8. The universe is so big, it makes sense that some aliens share similar abilities.
