And just because a person claims to have studied Islam, doesn't mean that they understood it correctly or that assessment of it is valid. Also most of the criticism towards Islam is less about the religion itself and more about the Muslims who may not be acting according to the actual Islamic teachings, like the ISIS, or those who wake up everyday thinking of killing someone, beating up their wife or kids, or forcing their kids to marry someone they don't want to. Millions of Muslim women are getting education even within the Muslim countries, so Malala is just a puppet, not some hero for speaking up for women's education. She got shot because she 'stood up' against the backwards Pashtun culture that cherry picks Islamic teachings to suit the people who have authority.
@kingofbudokai2 ай бұрын
The second thing you said is correct, but the first is not. Criticizing the actions of a pastor for example isn't the same as Criticizing Christianity, true, but criticizing Christianity as a religion IS inherently a criticism of all Christians. Same goes for Islam/Muslims. You can speak out against radical jihadists without condemning all of Islam, but you cannot condemn a religion wholesale without condemning all those who follow it. You cannot say, for example, "Islam is a destructive force in the world" and then turn around and claim "but it's ok if people want to follow Islam." Those two things cannot both be true.

@@kingofbudokai In terms of Christianity, there are different branches of Christianity. They may follow the same Bible but some of the branches follow more than the Bible like Mormons follow the Book of Mormon. Catholics have different beliefs compared to non-denominational Christian like praying to Jesus's mother Mary and confessing their sins to a priest. Also people in each branch interpret the Bible differently. For example, in the 10 Commandments, it says "Do not say the Lord's name in vain". A lot of people interpreted that as not to say "Oh my God" while others interpret it as "don't commit a sin like murder someone or steal and say you're doing it in the Lord's name." I'm happy to have found your comment in this sea of gullible people lolll. I've been commenting like crazy, someone has to tell these people that those interviews are scripted! It's not like it's a secret, we been knew 😆 I'm surprised that even Amala doesn't know, that's wild.

Is that what the Jennifer team told you... to save face? "You can totally see..." means you're going by what you think based on wat you see... Or do you have some kind of connection with Conan and the show?

I had long covid. It sucked! I was tired all day long. I had days where I slept over 24hrs and still woke up tired. I’d never slept more than 10 hours straight before then. My head was in a fog for well over a year. If you had it, there is no mistaking it. I’m better now, but it took close to 2 years to pass.

I have NOT watched the video or seen what his daughter's stance is on this, but I will say, as a classical liberal, banning mask wearing is a slippery slope, and against the freedoms of personhood, as well as a public health issue. Yes, many criminals wear masks, but so do veterans with facial injuries, people with insecurities, people that want to protect their face from cold weather, and many law enforcement must wear masks to protect their identities and the identities of their family members from those that would do evil. This is akin to taking away guns from everyone because the criminals abuse them. This is not a solution, and I implore the party that I have often though of as full of critical thinkers, reasonable, logically thinking human beings, to reassess the opinions and stances of this issue.

As someone with Lupus and Stage 4 non-alcoholic cirrhosis (caused by Lupus and a genetic blood iron issue) and I'm only 45, got sick at age 31. I wear a mask unless I'm outside away from others or at home but at the store, the doctor's offices, pharmacy etc... I live in SF and our new covid variant is rampant. People are going to hospitals here in droves. Not everyone has the freedom to not wear a mask, I've actually had jerks at the store cough without covering in my direction because they hate me for my mask!? In the most liberal place on the planet! I'd rather not die and spend another few months in the ICU. If Covid is rampant then mask up until it dissipates.

Most likely nobody in her life ever wants to disagree with her or tell her nobody is as dangerous as a person who thinks they are doing the “right” thing. The adults in her life should have known better and protected her and probably should have told her that her opinion wasn’t going to met very well

Just because I don’t wanna get any airborne disease from a patient and I don’t enjoy nasty smell you get when dealing with bodily fluids 😂 Plus I’m currently undergoing a laser treatment and I don’t want people to see my face. But I’m sure the far right is defining me as a Covid freak 😅

I am someone who has suffered a lot from Covid, and the last thing I would want is a mask mandate. In the spring of 2020, my fiancé passed away due to Covid at the age of 29. I developed long haul Covid as well as intense fibromyalgia. I am immune compromised and have been more messed up physically from medications prescribed to me for my fibromyalgia. I have had to stop working because of my physical conditions; I was a special education teacher for years and miss it. Even with all of this, I know that enforcing masking is not the right choice. I have contracted Covid multiple times since, the last time being almost as bad as the first. Forcing people to mask is not the answer, though.

Idk man, I've been working in an ALF since before covid. At my facility, I'd say about 40% out of the 50 or so ELDERLY residents I have, have caught covid at one point or another. Most of them were pretty much back to normal after about 2-3 weeks...and for a few others, it took them maybe about a month or so to bounce back. However, none of them are suffering any effects of "long covid". All this to say...i have to disagree with her claims that 1 in 10 people, experience it. Im sure there are some people out there, that probably do have some long lasting effects, but i dont believe its 1 in 10.

Angelina Jolie doesn’t have a trans child. Her daughter went through a tomboy phase as a kid, as lots of girls do, and also wanted to be called a male nickname, as lots of tomboys do. Her mother gave her the freedom to do that without pressuring her into anything more than that, and her daughter grew up and into femininity and embraced being a woman. Nothing wrong with that. She didn’t force her daughter to be into princesses and makeup, but she didn’t force her into becoming trans either. Seems like a decent parent to me

37:09 the saddest thing is that the Muslim people who speak out are not only condemned by their own religious group, but like people like these three men, who would jump on them saying they are islamophobes for speaking out. That is why also there is not a lot of coverage, as the left media doesn’t really want to platform their criticism.
