Quick warning to all females everywhere, DO NOT attempt to use your relationship as leverage to destroy a man’s hobbies. It doesn’t matter what those hobbies are, any man with integrity and dignity will take his hobbies over you REGARDLESS of the details.
@Jenny-vm3yu
@Jenny-vm3yu 10 ай бұрын
Exactly, that is just wrong and invalidates that man as a person. If he did it to the woman it would be seen as controlling, which it generally is for either gender. The only time reprimanding someone over their hobby is valid is if it became an addiction and they lost their job/ won’t find a job, do nothing else and don’t look after their kids. For example, I recently saw a video about a woman who was on her computer for 10 hours a day literally ignoring her baby. Her husband should have definitely stopped that or kicked her out.

About "the worst she can say is no" - as a man, here is my story from the highschool 10th grade (i think). I wasn't (and pretty sure i am still not) good in face, so basically any dating was complicated. I didn't like many, nor was i liked myself. But! There was one girl i wanted to ask out, for a movie and stuff like that. With lots of debating and encouragement from my friends i eventually decided to put cards on the table and approach her. Surprisingly after i mentioned going to cinema she sayd "lright, why not" and so we did. It was a bit awkrward at first, but eventually pressure lowered and conversation went much smoother. Throughout the movie (a thriller) i noticed some signs that basically SCREAM "come on, do it!". I knew that it's a bad idea to go for something serious, so i just decided to put mt hand on hers to calm her down. *BUT.* The SECOND i made a touch her hand flashed away without her even looking at me. (I didn't need any more hints that "well, we fucked up", so didn't pressure any further. My point was proven right, couse as soon as movie ended she went with "sorry i need to go home and all" and of course proposition of escort was rejected) Dissapointed i walked back home myself, thinking "could've been worse, Alex" hoping that we won't have to interract with each other that often... *BUT I WAS PROVEN WRONG NEXT MORNING!* "The worst she can say is no?!" - the next day, after i went to school, i was called by the councelor for *SEXUAL HARRASMENT!* I started: "wha- why?! What did i do?!", "that girl informed us taht you tried to grab her in inapropriate places, and bla-bla.." WHAT INAPROPRIATE PLACES?! I can't touch hand anymore? Will the accusations be the same if i were better in face? Would've i been called a "sex-offender" if my jockes were funnier? NOT ONLY did i have to get a hour long lecture about ME being a WEIRDO, but reputation was RUINED! Not only wasn't it well recieved by girls in school, but guys and even some of my FRIENDS started to look differebtly at me. "What did i do?!" was the only thing i could say. And OF COURSE nobody beleived me, nobody believed that i wouldn't dare to do that. And OF COURSE there was no need for proofs, to back up taht girls lies. NO! Becouse WHY WE NEED EM, RIGHT?! Worst she can say is no?! Haha- you PRAY it'll be what she says, when she refuses.

@@CorpusGreedthat's sad, sorry to hear that, I want to add what else could happen when you ask a girl out.. She can say yes and you go out several times and start to fall in love with her and randomly she just ghosts you completely with no apparent reason.. That has been my recent dating experience after getting divorced from a 10 year marriage with a girl who also "said yes" but then messed with my emotions for a decade before leaving. So in my experience them saying no its not even close to the worst possible situation that could arise. They could say yes and play with your emotions and leave you destroyed inside.

I want to touch on the topic of emotional men. My husband who I love to the ends of the earth, is sometimes sheltered. He didn't have the best upbringing and as such doesn't let himself cry often. I hate seeing him cry but not because he's "weak" or anything like that. It means something or someone has hurt or upset him or the point he can't hold it back. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've seen him cry. When he cries it feels like nothing else matters but him. I will lay with him and hold him while he cries. It almost feels like a bonding moment. He is at his weakest mental state and I'm able to help and bring him out of it. I hate that we live in a society where a man crying is seen as a negative rather than them just being human.

So when my best friend was going through his first break-up, He was extremely upset and sad, and of course I was there to comfort him! Because that's the natural and obvious thing to do. His heart was so broken that he couldn't keep his tears and just started crying. And this just broke my heart, seing him so hurt and heartbroken 🥺😢 I just took him in my arms, rubbed his back and let him be vulnerable for the moment because he really needed it, I was by his side the whole time and it helped him a lot. He was super grateful! And he knows he can trust me, he knows I will never ridicule him, because he wasn't "manly" enough in my eyes or so! Now I can't even imagine if it was my partner! My world would shatter!! How can you not be worried about the person you love the most when she's feeling bad??! @@anastasiyaholdak8493 On top of women being that way towards men, you also have society as a whole like that towards men. As seen in the phrases of "man up" "be a man" "grow some balls" it's considered "unmanly" to show emotions as a guy (also obvious in the "you're being a little girl" also being used against men for being emotional). At the end of the day I do think men are at a disadvantage when it comes to mental health. Which is why they make up the majority of self-unalivings. And because of the stigma in men being emotional, they tend to not reach out when they need help the most which leads to such high unaliving statistics. I have a son now and it worries me. I'm going to do my part in teaching him that it's okay to be "manly" and emotional, and that if a woman doesn't like him being "emotional" then she can go kick stones.

Sooner or later one finds out it is pointless. No one cares. No one gives a shit. And it will be used against you. Someone will find your stuff and use it to hurt you with it for a short burst of rush. Back when I was breaking up with my narcissistic ex-fiancé, dealing with the death of my sister, extreme loneliness, I made a bunch of vids too. It never amounted to anything good. Just a few, luckily not many, negative reactions, I had to deal with on top of my life breaking even more apart. Last time the vids had any effect on my life was when a girl messaged me out of the blue, looking for something, and she asked if I was a "video-man"... I deleted all. I don't need strangers to know what I look like when I am depressed. Heck, I don't want girls to know what I look like when I am depressed. Just don't post self-deprecating stuff online. Trouble.

@@Donotdisturb09”Latina”. Americans especially North Americans, and other uneducated countries that have been falsely linguistically influenced by the USA use latin terms wrong. Latino men and women are those of prominent Mediterranean diaspora who’s prominent origins come from Latin Europe. Yes Latin Europe, Not “Latin” America which solely and only got its name to mean the part of the American continent that was conquered and ruled by Latin European countries in opposition to Anglo America that was conquered and ruled by Anglo European countries. It is important to acknowledge that True misappropriation of foreign terms is Not ok as it negatively impacts many people by contributing to cultural erasure and cultural negation, which therefore achieves a form of cultural assimilation. HISPANIC LITERALLY MEANS SPAIN. LATINO MEANS LATIN HENCE THE TERM LATIN_O. AND THE CULTURA LATINA-THE LATIN CULTURE, THE LATIN PEOPLE, THE LATINO TRIBES (Latini), THE LATIN ETHNICITY AND THE LATIN LANGUAGE ALL COME FROM ITALY! LATINO IS THE SOLE IDENTITY OF SOUTHERN EUROPEAN LATIN MEDITERRANEAN DIASPORA WHOS ETHNICITY AND CULTURE COMES FROM THE TRUE AND REAL LATINO ANCESTORS OF ITALY. And Hispanic is literally the Latin language for Spain not the native Americans they colonized such as those Of south, Central American and Mexican origins weather you or others like you acknowledged it or not. Both Hispanic & Latin/Latino culture come from Europe that is Latin Europe. & Latin Europe was Latinized by Italy hence how Latina Italy got the historical Latin name LATINA! LATINO= SOUTHERN EUROPEAN LATIN MEDITERRANEAN DIASPORA OF THE LATINO ANCESTORS OF ITALY. Hispanic is the name the TRUE Latino people of Rome/Italy gave the Spaniards. People from south central America and Mexico are historically native Americans & now some Mestizos whom where just forced to learn Hispanic ways just like people in North America who where forced to learn English ways and it ends there. Being culturally UNROOTED due to brainwashed acculturation is why so many Americans especially North Americans don’t know their own identity Nor even care.TRUE Latin people need representation in North America as we are misrepresented all day long in this country and it’s not ok. Culturally rooted proud People native to south Central America and Mexico who embrace their true identity feel the same way with FALSE brands like Hispanic and Latino as that is Not their origin it is the origin of their conquerors. South Central Americans and Mexicans are indigenous Americans, mestizo Americans, Castizo Americans, zambos, pardos, sub Saharans etc. Not Latins, Not Latin Blood therefore Not LATIN_O. LATINOS are SOUTHERN EUROPEAN LATINS born anywhere in the world who’s roots come from the LATIN Roman Empire of the Mediterranean Race. Again HENCE HOW LATINA ITALY GOT THE HISTORICAL LATIN NAME LATINA! If those like you want to claim the Hispanic identity and origins of Spain then what ever. HOWEVER us culturally aware true Latin Mediterranean people are tired of this brainwashed American obsession with misappropriation and cultural rape of foreign Latin terms from Italy. Supporting American Brainwashed cultural theft for “gain” and “benefit” does Not magically change this. CULTURALLY REMOVED indigenous Americans, mestizo Americans etc. need to learn and respect their true culture that way they can stop stealing from the Real Latin peoples identity. & TRUE LATINO MEN & WOMEN AKA SOUTHERN EUROPEANS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MULTI GENETICALLY MIXED ETHNIC PEOPLE DUE TO OUR MIDDLE EASTERN, NORTH AFRICAN & ETHNIC BALKAN DNA. THIS CULTURAL RAPE TOWARDS THE TRUE LATIN PEOPLE OF ITALY EXIST BECAUSE THOSE LIKE YOU BELIEVE YOU HAVE & WILL CONTINUE TO “BENEFIT” FROM THE CULTURAL THEFT TOWARDS US TRUE LATINO MEDITERRANEANS WHO DESCEND FROM ITALY! THE TERM LATINO DERIVES FROM THE VERY FIRST LATIN TRIBE CALLED THE LATINI. LATINI IS PLURAL FOR LATINO AS LATINO IS SINGULAR FOR LATINI. THEY WERE CALLED LATINI BECAUSE IT WAS A TRIBE OF MANY PEOPLE HENCE THE PLURAL TERM FOR LATINO BEING LATINI. LATINO REFERS TO A SINGULAR FORM OF BEING LATINI AND ALL THE LATINI INFLUENCES. THE SAME WITH LATINA BEING SINGULAR AND LATINE BEING PLURAL IN THE LATIN/ITALIAN LANGUAGE. THESE ARE ALL TERMS CREATED SOLELY BY THE TRUE LATINO MEDITERRANEAN ANCESTORS OF ITALY. YOU CAN NOT BE PART OF AN ORIGIN, HISTORY AND ETHNICITY WHICH YOUR ANCESTORS FACTUALLY ARE NOT HISTORICALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR. END OF STORY. IT HAS BECOME TRENDING PROPAGANDA FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT OF PROMINENT LATIN MEDITERRANEAN ORIGIN TO MISAPPROPRIATE LATIN EUROPEAN TERMS OF ITALY AS TRENDING PROPAGANDA TO APPEAR MORE DESIRABLE FOR SOCIAL STATUS FOR SOCIAL ADVANTAGE. AND IT NEEDS TO BE EXPOSED AND PUT TO AN END. PERIOD.

In a way, it helps to turn sources of stress into humor plus get advice, and also feel less like failures. Unfortunately, the sharing Ls to the entire internet, I'm pretty sure is actually rooted in a lot of people who lack good relationships. Theyre not getting the interaction from a closed friend group, so they're willing to brand themselves publicly for that attention. Its really sad and toxic.

These women either don't have friends or don't realize the entire world is not their friend. This isn't stuff you're supposed to be sharing with strangers. And if you think about it it's really easy to see where it came from. Back in the 90s you had a regular diary. In the early 2000s you had an anonymous vlog. The whole male vulnerability thing reminds me of something Brene Brown acknowledged in one of her TED talk. She shared a story about a husband who was getting books signed for his wife and daughter. He said they would rather see him die on his white horse than see him fall. She acknowledged that this pressure is real and a serious barrier to male emotional health.

@debanydoombringer1385 I am very grateful that my wife and daughter express to me that I am their rock. But I think there is more to the picture. Vulnerability is not weakness. It requires strength to let people see where you are vulnerable. A strong man does not need to pretend they are invulnerable because he knows he has the strength to protect his vulnerabilities if necessary. A "strongman" spends enormous amounts of energy trying to convince everyone that he is invulnerable because he knows he is too weak to deal with any kind of genuine assault. Much of what our culture holds up as strong male behavior is actually a pattern of abject cowardice. At some point, our culture began to confuse strongmen with strong men. The result is that too many men believe they need to project invulnerability, and too many women believe that about men too. The result is male female relationships devoid of sincere and direct emotional communication. I cry openly in front of my wife and daughter, and they love and respect me for it. They know that I have the courage to let them see my vulnerabilities. The know I have the strength to fight when I am terrified. They know have genuine strength and not false bravado that will crumble when faced with a genuine threat.

I would also be very flattered if it happened to me as a woman myself!😊 Because like, how are they supposed to know if you're already married or not? Some people don't even wear rings and they're still married... So why would you even make a fuss if a guy asked you out, but you were already taken? In my opinion, respect and gratefulness play a big part here and I get the feeling that those values slowly are disappearing in our current time...😢 I would definitely congratulate the guy for his courage, because it may not be obvious, but it does take some balls to get the courage to ask a woman out!😅 And a little confidence boost would hopefully push them to try out another time with another woman!😊

Women sharing their problems is deeply ingrained in their DNA. And social media makes it especially easy to share it. Of course, there's still a difference between women who share their most intimate things and those who don't. In western 'democratic' nations it seems to be relatively common to share the intimate ones that shouldn't be shared. If you look at eastern Europe, Asia, South-American, Africa... that ain't happening. They know to not share things that make them look bad. Meanwhile, the US, eastern Europe and Australia... it's different. That being said, there's a decent chunk of women here that does have common sense in that regard. Probably even still the majority, I think. It's just that there's also a crapload who do not have that and think they win by sharing everything, even if they don't win.

Oooookay. I have had four kids. My babies were big. I've had three cesareans, and I have not been able to do the work on my core to get those muscles in place (did I mention I have four kids? I know some moms can make it happen. I am not one of them). I am also a bit overweight. And all of my weight goes right there to me abdomen. My legs, arms, and face look pretty fit. So I just look pregnant. All the time. Even when I'm decently fit. I have plenty of people assume I'm pregnant. But you know what? I have accepted this. And when people say this, I tell them I'm just fat, but then I tell them about my core and stuff. Some friends are offended on my behalf, but I just can't fault people, because I really, really, really look pregnant. And I really want to do the work on my core, but it's so hard to find the time, and I'm decently certain you have to be very consistent to see results... So... Anyway. I think it would be a healthy thing if people were just more understanding of people...

I seriously have taken pictures and put them on my Facebook page of me 100% not pregnant but posing like I'm pregnant, because I LOOK PREGNANT. All the time. (I make it explicitly clear that I'm not pregnant. Just, "See? I look so pregnant. Even though I'm not.") And it's half just the way things are for my body and it's another half my fault. (And when you're Catholic and have four kids already, people just assume you're going to have another one.)

For me, oversharing (some things) is a public service I do to make people understand they are not alone. As someone who has working in behavioral health I know how many people feel the stigma of discussing life’s difficulties and I don’t ever want people to feel like they are the only ones dealing with it. This goes more for domestic abuse (mostly emotional) and family trauma. I don’t think it’s shameful to discuss the things we go through, as long as it is helpful to others.

I think the problem with vulnerability is that it has its time in its place. When you are starting to date, most women want a man who is stable, stoic, who knows how to handle stressful situations, along with the rest of the characteristics that can be considered attractive. It's completely different when you are in a long-term relationship and your partner needs your support and opens up to you in a time of need, by then your love for that person makes you want to comfort and support him.
