Actually it was guilt Ben for some reason is always forced by Leo's DUMB ASS that he should do this or do that. Did you notice that he forces Ben to forgive and endure all the shit these people give him and even rewards them for hurting him. In two season's after he lost his child Leo never once talks to Ben about anything other than forgiving people that wrong him. He doesn't even get mad. Adrian still got to keep the ring, the bracelet, the condo, and the money after fucking Henry and never even apologized or explained herself. While Ben got a dead Baby. Leo gave Henry a car and got mad at Ben for sleeping with Alice. He believes that he got this because he hurt a woman that loved him when he didn't. The writer's did that to play the emotional instability card so just in case they wanted to kill Ben like RAMY FANS WANTED it would be there. In the end they almost did it. Leo would have never gotten mad at the loss of his only child and son sad....... These people are horrible and Leo was an even more horrible father than Bob.

Andreaes1 I agree that Leo should have never left Adrian with shit. She didn’t deserve it. Amy didn’t really hurt Ben. She loved Ben but things got so twisted up after she had John. Ben wanted to have sex and Amy wasn’t ready. Yes Amy was too damn whiny for me at times. Her life wasn’t over and she made things more complicated than they needed to be. Ricky was more mature and that is why I felt he should been with Amy to make her better grounded. Having John made Ricky better. Adrian never really learned because just like a Grace bounced from one guy to the next. Leo having all the money he did thought it was always best just to give it away to people less deserving because reasons. I never understood Leo at times but Adrian should have not kept anything. She should have went back to living with her parents or eventually moved into her own apartment.

All were given to him by Leo and that helped to ruin Ben's relationship with his father, while Ricky capitalized on its fall. His baby was given to him by Ben who sacrificed everything for John to be born. Ricky didn't thank him once. So how did he mature? He was like his dad a grand manipulator.

I just rewatched this scene and it’s sickening what Ben says at the end but the things he said at the beginning was dead on accurate. Adrian sulked and coped in all the wrong ways and Ben literally did tip toe around her and she didn’t stop and take a second to think of the pain her husband is in as well. They needed to heal together,but Ben saying they deserved to loose that baby because of what they did and blaming the child’s death on Adrian was disgusting. But just like Ricky said in a previous episode “sometimes people need to say terrible things sometimes people need to just let it out and get it off their chest but the safe place to do that is in therapy” basically telling her to get some help and she chose not to which made her in turn hurt everyone around her.

I wish I could believe that, but Amy proved to me too many times she didn'. She slept with Ricky the day his daughter died. If she even cared about Ben even a little she would have waited. Especially since he already provided them with a home, a job, good, and insurance. That is just too much to be ignored. I'll say this. I stopped watching this show after Amy and Ben broke up. Those two were my end game. But throughout the show, well the season I watched, I did want Ben and Adrian to become best friends. I always thought their friendship would be one of a kind. Cause their personalities clash so well. Adrian would get Ben out of his comfort zone and Ben would ground Adrian. But dating?? having a baby and getting married?? not at all. It was an amazing plot twist if you think about it, but at the same time bad writing! Like how could Adrian close off herself like that? Or why didn't Ben try to be there for her even when she closed herself off? Why did Ben react that way and say such harsh things when he knows it's not her fault the baby died. ALL THIS could've been avoided if we were all honest with each other, had good communication skills and didn't push ourselves into relationships that shouldn't happen. And to the people saying, "oh how could Amy love ben?" and "this is why she ended up with Ricky" shut up. Cause I know y'all saw that last episode. Y'all know that Amy's heart always belonged to Ben and that she was only with Ricky because of their son, and they both admitted the same. So stop with all the "ricky and amy are so cute for each other' because they weren't. And they knew that, and we all knew that!

Ben and Adrian actually made a good couple I really liked their relationship. They made a mistake but made a committed bet to be good for their child. Ben was a good guy and I loved how sweet he was with Adrian and I loved that he was able to let her show vulnerability. Even after Mercy’s death there were subtle indications that Ben still cared about Adrian. The writers could have done more when it came to the death of the baby being that they really did so much to make it work.

Personally I love adrian. She shows such growth by the end of the series. She is one of the most real characters. A lot of people are like her and struggle like her. She shows life isnt perfect and neither are people.

She grew and recovered from childhood issues and this one. The fact that she was even still standing and a decent human being by the time the show ended shows she grew. Could you survive everything she had been through and still be a decent and functioning person? Nobody is perfect. Nobody is going to always do everything right. But dont take away from a persons growth and strength just because they did something you dont like. What did she do? Kiss Ricky and Grace? Oh no how human of her. celery overlord no it’s the story line none of this actually happened in real life. She was never pregnant in real life it was probably just fake stuff under her shirts.
