Ben, you’re right about most things in this interview, obviously. But the argument about construction workers making more money than snowboarders when they don’t give a fuck is slightly short sighted. Construction fills the needs for housing which ranks way higher up on the human hierarchy-of-needs then snowboarding. Everyone needs housing, unfortunately not everyone needs snowboarding -to survive. There just isn’t as much money in the snowboard industry compared to Gum and Construction for no reason other than supply and demand. Snowboarding has more core snowboarders than it has money to support.
