When Devi said "I want you to be my boyfriend but I will move to India." Paxton says, "Let's make the rest of our time count." And Ben says, "I'm willing to try long distance. I'm all in." Ben didn't want to let her go despite the possibility of geographic distance. I will also say that Ben was willing to come clean to Paxton straight away when he discovered Devi was two timing them because he consistently valued truth. He was way more hurt than Paxton because he was way more vulnerable with Devi than Paxton ever was.

I'm Team Ben because Ben genuinely cares about Devi, I still remember that scene when they were taking the bus back home from Model UN and an ambulance went by, and Devi's eyes looked so sad. Although Ben was mad at her for going against her, he still was worried about her and looked at her to see if she was okay. When Devi asked Paxton to the dance in S2, just because his friends were there, he said no, and he didn't want to be seen in public with her. It was as if he was ashamed of her. Ben isn't ashamed of her and loves her with all his heart, even while he was in a relationship with Aneesa. I'm not invalidating Paxton, but I honestly think Ben treats her better. And Devi seriously messed up when she decided to date both at the same time and then she broke both their hearts. My favorite scene though was the ending one when Eleanor proved Ben wrong that "it wasn't always Paxton".

I'm team Ben because the way their relationship was brought up was way more realistic and I feel like it would be way more in the end rather than Paxton but at first I was Paxton and Devi because he's a bad boy and physically helps Devi which I thought was better than helping someone mental health and Paxton expresses himself way too much like Devi and that can turn toxic really quickly while Ben is a little more reserved. I know they will eventually be together or not but this relationship has a lot of potential rather then Devi and Paxton in the end.

@@Dan-mp5rg not for the right reason tho - paxton's always been unattainable to her and to suddenly have his attention and have him gave her a bigger rush than being with ben, who provides her with the stability she needs. my guess for season 3 is both devi and ben will stay with paxton and aneesa while slowly realising it's each other they actually want. as much as i love seeing more of paxton, their relationship won't last, rather will teach the both of them important life lessons and will make them grow as people so they can find someone that suits them better.

Did anyone else go on a Ben/Devi spiral after this season, desperately seeking out all content for this couple? BC I did and this may be the best video I've found so far. I genuinely like Paxton as a character and saw a lot of growth from him this season, but I truly do think that Devi and Ben are endgame and will end the series together. I'm honestly happy that they did not drag this two-timing situation till the end of the season. All of the character development this season would have never occurred and it would just be super repetitive if they did that. Plus, we were able to see how much Devi actually likes Ben and wants to correct her mistake. IMO: I think Devi did not want to hurt anyone. She just liked both of them so much and it was so difficult to choose and I personally think that she wanted to choose Ben but then Eleanor and Fabiola decided to plant the idea of Paxton in her head.

Ben and Devi have their flaws as a couple but both ships do. Paxton is on this pedestal for Devi and her friends Eleanor and Fab. Which could cause insecurity for Devi because she thinks she’s “not enough” and that’s the thing you learn about love and life. You can like each other and want one another but being together you end up both feeling inadequate together. So that’s a huge issue for Devi and Paxton. Meanwhile with Ben the trust is completely gone and the resentment is there. Ben wasn’t picked by Devi even though he found out he was close later on which will be a problem. Seeing the girl he loves chase and chase Paxton isn’t great since you are option two. But Ben cares about Devi’s family and friends and relationships with them. So I like them better together because it isn’t a bond based solely on looks. Guess season three will be something.

I’m going to said something that probably we all know by now. Ben push Devi to be better like not only like rivals but as a person, the way he looked at her and said “David” when she make that stupid apology (like seriously that wasn’t a good apology) is because he has faith in her, he knows she’s a good person so when she does something hurtful to others he is worried no only because of the other people (Nalini, El and Fab, Anessa, etc) but because he knows Devi can do better, she can be better and that’s beautiful because Devi knows that Ben is a part of her life she doesn’t want to lose either ( when she stay friends despite him being with Neesa). They’re constants in each other lifes and that’s just amazing 💖

He was embarrassed of being in love with someone who betrayed him. And if we look at it backwards, Paxton was humiliated too when Devi confessed in front of everyone that she 2-timed them, it hurts too. As for homework, asking a scholar to do extra homework, doesnt seems much of a revenge, given his popularity i think there are plenty of girls willing to do his homework. And even if that IS a revenge, at least it is mild compared to Ben's. Ben tried to move on with Aneesa, of all people, Devi's gf. All those kissing, caressing, sweet nothings.....in front of Devi. If your ex did that, would you still think he truly loves you? Loving you while making out with your friend at your presence and ignoring you completely. But yeah, thats my opinion too, we can agree to disagree. =)
