We lost a great actor today. Ben Gazzara was truly one of my favorite actors. When I was a kid I remember walking into this big living room in the Bronx. nobody was in there but the TV was on, and Ben Gazzara was yelling, Me! Al Capone!.. and I sat down and watched the movie. Nobody played the part of Al Capone with such ferocity as Ben Gazzara did.

I just finished watching Mr. Gazzara in his first film, "The Strange One" that was recently released on DVD. I was blown away! His performance was amazing, to say the least. I've become a big fan lately since watching "Run For Your Life" on the RTV Network. Somehow I missed that show in the mid-60's..........not sure how, but I'm enjoying it now.
