Ben & Jerry's crazy collaboration chocolate bars - Tony's Chocolonely chocolate review

A big European name in chocolate, Tony's Chocolonely, has teamed up with a US ice cream powerhouse to create a couple of collaboration chocolate bars. Oh I've been waiting for some more from Tony's and was curious about your opinion cause generally I got addicted to Tony's milk caramel, hazelnut crunch and Tony's in general but I tried both of these and they're really good but I can't taste any cheesecake in the white one. Cheers from Poland!

I’ve tried both ! As a loyal supporter of Tony’s chocolonely I was eager to try them. Totally agree re the lack of an intense brownie vibe…it’s a grand bar and a decent enough cocoa % but for me it’s not superior to standard Tony’s choc. The white choc one also disturbed me upon spotting cheese powder in the ingredients 😂 I instantly imagined the cheese powder claiming to be a version of “Parmesan”. So that was off putting but yeah I liked the flavour and texture was good- would argue the freeze dried pieces were a bit gritty/clung to the teeth? Personally prefer the milk caramel biscuit version and the milk pecan caramel version (obsessed with pecans ❤) and think they are relatively new…

I have tried the brownie one and actually liked it! Not incredibly special of course but as a milk chocolate lover I enjoyed it... the white chocolate however i was scared to try as I thought it might be too sweet, I remember trying their white chocolate-raspberry bar and although it was good I just tasted it but couldn't finish it... I tried the ice cream too! It's good but to be honest I don't think it particularly screamed Tony's, it was just chocolate ice cream with caramel and some pieces of dark chocolate, pretty decent but not so special in my opinion I still like both brands so I needed to give those a try haha, maybe I'll try the white chocolate now since you seem to like it, might be nice on top of a brownie too!

We tried the brownie one and the strawberry one and honestly didn't enjoy either. The texture of the chocolate was not great and the flavour was just....meh. The brownie one is chocolatey but i wish it'd had a more true brownie flavour. The strawberry one tastes like cream unless you get a piece of strawberry. And even then the freeze dried strawberries are just ugh. Good review!
