Older guy here, been weight training since the late 70's for football and the 80's 90's in the USMC. An we use to called this type of training Pyramids back in the day....

I disagree that passively stretching is bad during a workout. In between sets, stretching the working muscle puts a lot more blood into the muscle and increases the pump.

Any rest pause between the stretch and the next set?? (They video is cut so it is impossible to see)...

I would take a moment there to rest between sets. I know what you mean...hard to tell how long he rested. I would say 1-2 minutes in order to give your muscles some necessary recovery. CC

No that's not. Most strength experts and coaches nowadays have you do some mobility work first along with some full body movements to properly warm up the muscles....stretching has been found to be more effective after the workout when the muscles are warm and more pliable. Doing quality movements in the beginning with little or no added resistance is more effective at priming the muscles for exercise. CC

Criticalbench mobility work is stretching so i dont know what your on about, without stretching and foam rolling before squats or deadlifts i can not performe the task since im not mobile enough, removing stretching from my warmup would make sure that i snap my shit up.
