I have been a radio producer and engineer and know how hard it is to balance so many different voices, instruments, etc. live on stage). Had the pleasure of watching this special tonight. Her power and understanding of every song she sings (and performs ) is joyous and beyond comparison as she is clearly aware of the shoulders of the great ladies who came before her. ( I spied a tattoo of Ladyday on her arm as testament to this). My only gripe is that the concert was clearly longer and I selfishly wanted to savour more of this ladies talents .
