@@TheSkelzore "The race factor is not a driving force in income inequality." Stating that he thinks culture is all of it is not a fact and arguing a different point and using facts to support a different point is not bringing facts to the argument at hand. I make the point in a different comment that adding "dogs are mammals" to an argument is not supporting your argument. On the young turks guys, (I haven't found a fact that supports the topic so far), The other guy makes a good point that, that's probably true, and on topic, but it is cherry picking and therefore invalid. He then decides to claim that care is the only thing that is important, that's not true. The argument is not just care but how much it costs. If it costs a life long debt then you just switched one problem with another. So the whole video he had no valid facts and maybe 4 facts total. Also if you watch ep 1392 of his podcast listen for facts because ben is very good at saying claims with confidence but that is not a fact. I should add, this isn't the best video as an example, the format is not designed to have a lot of facts. Also, he states 7:40 "There is no good response to this argument" Which is just bullshit. You can't sit unopposed and tell your audience "I'm right and no one has even conceived otherwise." One just off the top of my head is that there were a shit ton of other racist laws and people and financially that never restarts, it builds. Wealth is generational. John Oliver covers zoning laws about this

Very few people are like “hey I was so woke today” this isn’t 2015. So since it’s a word largely used by conservatives, what things are woke? Is recognizing systemic racism woke? Is wanting to reallocate police and military funds to social programs woke? Is wanting to act on man caused climate change woke? or wanting people to have healthcare free at the point of service? It's a damn shame we have to look at each other as black and white. We were PAST this bullshit almost with the 1960s and they've manufactured a return to it. It's so messed up. America is not racist. It never was as racist as people are pretending. Thousands upon thousands of white soldiers died to buy their freedom which they always should have had. BUT these pieces of garbage today pretend like those men who died were racists. It boils my freaking blood. I'm not cussing because KZbin might not let this comment through if I do.

I cracked up at that: “Why don’t you identify as a 60 year old?” This kind of insanity from the left turned me conservative. After conversations with my fellow political science students at university, I realized I couldn’t talk to liberal students without having to censor myself or keep my true, factual, thinking to myself. Something changed; liberals once promoted themselves as the party of acceptance and progression. But now they’re by far the least tolerant, most censorious, of the two. With my conservative colleagues I feel much more like we can have a discussion and disagree in a mature way... not the case at all with liberals.

If girls should be allowed in the Boy Scouts should boys be allowed in the Girl Scouts
@kaylahall12193 жыл бұрын
As a scouter, I can illuminate some history for you. The scouts started in England when Robert Baden-Powell discovered most of his enlisted men knew nothing about the basics of survival; how to light a fire, how to find food, how to build shelter, etc. He started the scouts in order to give young men a club to learn basics to prepare them for their future war service (around 1900). This also included basic moral behavior. One day, William Boyce got lost in the fog in London and a young man of unknown origin, helped him find where he needed to go. Boyce offered him money and he said, "no sir, a scout does a good turn daily." And walked away in the fog. This prompted a meeting with Robert Baden-Powell and the founding of the Boy Scouts of America in 1910.1912, Juliet Gordon Low saw about how wonderful the program was and adapted it for girls. Gender roles in 1912 were very clearly defined. Women were not yet able to vote and had to make their way in the world in ways entirely different from a man's course. The organizations were two entirely different entities, grown up entirely separately, organically. In time girls were like, oh what you are doing looks super cool and awesome, I want to be involved. The BSA in 1969 and 1971 allowed girls 14-21 to join the venturing program, emphasizing advanced camping skills. Keep in mind, the girls scouts existed this whole time. In other countries, when they adopt scouting, it is just Scouts and is co-ed. So this girl's whole basis for argument is very flawed. It wasn't like, "oh ! I'm going to go out and create a club just to exclude and persecute women," it wasn't like the little rascals with their he-man-woman-haters club. It was originally designed to help men gain skills so they wouldn't die in war. (An factual inequality between the sexes since the dawn of the species) but to say man and women are the same is absolutely defunct. Also, if you are a girl interested in the Scouting Program, there were lots of ways to be involved. But she isn't really interested in that, the BSA is just a prop for her fake virtue, if she were interested in real virtue, and real morality, she wouldn't be a leftist.🤣 With love, an old scouting woman.
@ccstudios3 жыл бұрын
It is actually up to the boy scouts organization whether to allow girls though (and they made that decision). Seems like Girl Scouts is staying more conservative in opposition to Boy Scouts while BSA has expanded to allow girl troops (they don't have combined troops). As a Boy Scout I like boy scouts more than girl scouts anyway so I am fine with girls getting to be involved.

@MyReligionIs2DoGood Жыл бұрын
@@beastpatriots9569 There is no such place as 'hell'. The evidence clearly suggests that nothing supernatural exists. This includes heaven and hell, the soul, and similar concepts - including gods. Also, Christianity is not a 'riddle' that needs solving. It's pretty clear how it started, and it's also not a great mystery where religion comes from. This particular one is nothing special. It is just as 'mysterious' as Hinduism or Shamanism. You are not believing in any of the other religions. Just think about why you don't believe in them - then apply the same criteria on Christianity. You will quickly see that you are just as delusional as the people of which you believe they are wrong.

@@beastpatriots9569 Read a book. 1 - It was not an explosion. 2 - It did not come from 'literally nothing'. 3 - It didn't 'put us here'. If you're too lazy to grab a book, try videos. There are some really good ones out there explaining what scientists actually say - not the deliberate misrepresentations of your apologists, or the equally uneducated misunderstandings of your preachers. "Evidence my ass." That's exactly why you can't be taken seriously. No matter the evidence, you just handwave it away as if it wouldn't exist, and continue fooling yourself with a 2,000+ year old story that has been brainwashed into you since you were a little kid. Not even an attempt made to think for yourself, or learn anything. "Believe what you want... but you're wrong." Your last statement shows so much hybris, it's laughable. What you're saying here is: "I have no clue what I'm talking about, but I'm right, and you're wrong!" LOL Educate yourself. Seriously. Stop parroting the bullshit.

Exactly. Same with being uneducated. Only in this country do we glorify uneducated gang bangers. Only here. Any other normal country and society glorifies intelligent, decent people. And btw, that’s not a racist statement, because you can be an ignorant gang banger and be white or Asian or Hispanic or, yes, black. And notice that I say ignorant and not stupid. Black people, whom perpetuated this stereotype through pop culture, are really smart people. But when a black kid shows how smart he is, his own people ridicule him and belittle him and call him “white washed”. In all my years going to school here from kindergarten through college, being smart hasn’t ever been considered a good thing. Being decent and kind is called being boring and people resent you for it. It’s so deeply embedded in our culture, to Ben’s point!
