can't quantify exactly how much facial expressions enhance a pod, but it's quite a lot. So thanks for the video Peter Peter blumpkin eater Forgot to add: Ben has remained grounded and relatable and normal, at least it seems thst way, which is amazing considering the extreme range of acting he can do. Most of those extreme actors are odd in at least one way

Ben is a slow burn and really smart and real. He was ahead of his time with all his projects for a long time, imo. Loved him since The Ben Stiller Show and I know all the words to Reality Bites. It cut deep in my teens. Through this interview I can can affirm that his persona and career are like the friend you really connect with that makes you laugh that you never see enough of, and then suddenly you realize how much you love him...but don't want to ruin what you have so you just continue loving him how you're meant to, in the doses you get. If that makes sense. Thanks for this it was comforting and flowed nicely. 💗✨

Great episode learning about Ben! What a cool cat! Loving this new video element and we finally get to see the sauna in back that all your guests talk about! I love your standup! Loved hbo's crashers (i did 5yrs of standup so it really hit home for me!) And i like the We episodes you do with Val, We-isodes? I think i like them more than the guestisodes! Sorry about your recent series being cancelled. I understand though, people dont want to hear laugh tracks, I made it about 5 minutes into the first episode and had to shut it off. It's like, don't insult my intelligence by telling me when I'm supposed to laugh, I know what's funny! Anywhoozles! I'm stickin around to see whatever you do next cause you're amazing! And thus completes the shit sandwich; compliment // poo poo // compliment. Kay, byeeeeeeeeee!

It’s called Tribe by Sebastian Junger. I read it after he recommended it and while it’s interesting, it focuses a bit too much on the military for my taste. It’s a very short book though.

Hey Pete, Love being referenced as one of the weirdo's (in the intro.), it's actually the first word I use as a self description. Also really loved Crashing and IMHO it should have gone on for a few more seasons at least. Anyway.. as far as this specific episode goes.. (the first YMIW I've managed to listen to), OMG.. I love Ben, you, Joe Rogan and all of the people he tends to invite on to his show, but FFS, two hours of relatively aimless banter just hurts my ears for the most part! I don't want you to take my opinion too seriously, I mostly wanted to give you props for Crashing etc. (from all the way down here in Aus. where getting access to much of your work isn't always easy, it IS always late, but not easy.) Keep rockin' dude
