Ben Whittaker was making hard work of a journeyman and just being stupid and he's 26/27. People like Hamed and others mention were successful by that age. Even Eubanks jnr was boxing at a much higher level

I can remember Herol Bomber Graham who was one of the most elusive boxers that nobody could lay a punch on ....until one day he met an opponent who could, knocked him out, and that was it, career over. Wonder if it will be the same for Whittaker?

@@rosiemason-rk4cm Either you deleted your comment or YT did. But i could read the part about Steve Robinson. Steve Robinson was a Cinderella story when he won the title. But make no bones about it, he was world class as he proved. I don't care how many defeats he had before Naz beat him. I only care if he was world class or not. Check some of the fighters he beat. Plus, he made 7 defences of the title. That tells you everything you need to know. Hopefully you come back with the rest of the comment so i can correct you there too.

@@seablock My comment is still there on the thread in my feed so I don't know why it is not on yours. I was in my 30s during Naz's active years & I remember him well. He only beat fighters who were past their prime like Kevin Kelley & Tom "Boom Boom" Johnson but as soon as he faced a prime fighter in Barrera he was easily taken apart & dominated. Are you going to correct me on that? Also, after just ONE defeat Naz's ego couldn't take it, he had one more fight then disappeared forever - hardly the heart of a true champion, is it? Are you going to correct me on that as well? Some people enjoyed Naz's WWE-style antics but others thought he was an absolute pain in the behind. I belong to the latter group. Lol talk about damage control 😂. Yeah Ben didnt look good doing that to a journeyman. Made it look like a big world title fight which was silly. Needs to do it at the right level. Josh Kelly did the same and got found out at european level.
