This was stunning! I watched the whole thing and I knew the song was going to be a love song because the chord sounds so pleasant, sweet and “homely”. The more notes you added, the prettier it sounded. So now I’m even more excited to hear the whole thing. Dana!!!!! I am just thrilled to hear you say this!!! First, yes, I know you're in SC, and you're the ONLY ONE that has commented from that state so far!!! SO, you are a unique subscriber in that way!! I'm glad that this tutorial is going to help you! You really CAN make some great music on the piano and it's easy.... just let it go. The cool thing about this chore on your right hand (Csus2) is that you can literally play anything on your left hand and it will sound good.... so then add some of those extra notes in your left hand, and spread the right hand notes out and you'll be sounding like a PRO in just a few minutes!!! Keep me informed on how it's going for you!!!!

3:58 oooo! That’s something that is taught in singing too, it’s called crescendo-decrescendo or sometimes messa di voce where you play with dynamics and go soft to loud or loud to soft. That’s really hard. And it’s super interesting how these tricks can be applied in piano playing too.

You're right!!! Using dynamics in piano is critical, in my opinion. You only have so many notes, or tones, to play - so using dynamics help to create the ability to pull the listener into the music more! Thanks for being here with me again!!! You are awesome!!!

Hi Ben I'm lee from England. I like this tutorial because is seems easy ha ha. Until I try it. I just play from watching you and others I don't know chords or anything like that . I know abcdefg but that's about it😂 I've learned a few intros to songs but I think it's time I spend some time learning chord's .sometimes you can't cut corners I've just been watching Vinheteiros channel he's playing with stings tied to his fingers now . he's so good now he just takes the p. 😂😂 Can't wait for this song next week Ben. Have you ever heard of Rory dodd. I stumbled across him the other day singing making love out......he brings the passion to that song that I was looking for. Air supply was the first time I heard that song but Rory hits the nail on the head. 👍

@@BenBennett10 ye that Vinheteiro plays classical music but he does crazy things his latest vid he has string tied to his fingers and the other end is taped to the piano keys and he plays the piano from about 8foot away. It's funny.
