Sometimes I've panicked if had to play an accompaniment gig where I used transposed charts and the provided piano did not have transpose or it had some obscure instruction on how to use it. I've either had to re-write manual transposition or download the digital piano manual real quick! 😱 -Sharona 🎹

Jim steinman/ meatloaf. 😂😂 I've got up to were he starts to sing on piano Man. Am nearly 50 now give me another 40 years and I may play the full song. 👍

A great tutorial on how to transpose the pitch of a stage piano! This very useful if we suddenly need to play a tune in a different key from the key that we used to play, and we don't have much time to learn the piece in the new key. Personally, I haven't encountered a situation in which I need to use this, but I'll keep this in mind in case I need to do this in the future. Thanks for the useful tip!

Hi Ben. Can I move my middle c up to the the higher c , using this, because some intros I try and learn go low than my keyboard. I think Chicago the band. Was one you put up I just missed that lower not . I think mine is a 63 key. Keyboard. See you next week.
@BenBennett102 жыл бұрын
Yes, you certainly can just move up one octave... it will just make the sound sound pitched much higher. This is why the transpose key is so cool - you could play it up an octave on your keyboard, and transpose it down so that it sounds as if you were playing it on the actual keys it was written for.
