Another fantastic collaboration! Yes, I've heard of The Cosmic Note before and I really think she's such a gifted singer. You've certainly made the right choice to collaborate with her. While listening to this, it just feels like I'm being embraced by the atmospheric sound of this cover song. All the instruments, extra effects, mixing mastering and the editing is done with so much perfection. Best part is, every single detail about the cover connects to the other and ties this whole musical piece so beautifully, which makes this whole experience feel like a storytelling and you feel like you’re actually in space. That’s so hard to with just an instrumental but Ben effortlessly captured that feeling. This is the kind of music I want to make too so you inspire me so much. And I had so much fun doing the vocals, really wanted to go extra with some high falsettos at the very end but something inside me told me to just leave it like that and simply let it fade out into openness because the music itself is so powerful. Honestly Ben, this is one of the best covers of this song I've heard. I always like variations when musicians do a cover, because if I want to hear an exact replica, I'm going to listen to the original artist who composed it lol. By the way, I came to visit you because I saw you more than once at our dear talented and admirable friend, LADA SONG. I'll try to be brief because you still have a big channel and probably a ton of messages. I find you very articulate in your way of speaking, beautiful energy and super interesting at first sight. Here in your description you say, to take 5 minutes and watch this video all the way through to hear this song like you have NEVER heard it before. Yes you have to listen to it in its entirety because a song by Elton John must be consumed until the last note. I always liked Elton, but even more since I saw the film made on him. I hope you have seen it. Anyway, I can't see all of everyone's videos in my friends list here, but when I start a video, I make it my duty to always listen to it in full, and also to always read the descriptions. We artists take a lot of time to realize our musical projects, and it's the least we can do to watch all its content. The Cosmic Note singer has a sublime and soft voice that transports you to another world. I will go see her and surely encourage her. She has talent. Did I say I would be brief? hahaha sorry I like to elaborate when I like something. Thank you so much for your feedback!! I really appreciate it! Yes! I have seen the Elton John movie and I loved it. I have seen Elton John in concert through video technology a few times, and he always has a surprise in the way he does his music! I am glad that you can appreciate that a true artist should not try to just duplicate what someone else has done - but change it and transform it into their own. Some people don't appreciate that and want the cover to mimic the original - - I'm like you - if I wanted to hear the original, I'd go to Spotify and listen to the original - LOL!! Hey - I'm doing a LIVE CHAT during my PREMIER of this coming Sunday's video. It's a song that I wrote and it's based off a single chord that I did a tutorial on this past Sunday. I'd love to have you join us at 12pm Mountain Time this Sunday to listen to this original song and chat with many members of the MME community. Finally - Lada.... she is great! I have actually given her one of my original songs to record vocals to. It's a song I did on my channel a couple years ago, and she liked it - so I was like - "hey - sure, if you want to sing my song, that's awesome!!" So, that is a work in progress right now. I better quit typing now, but it's great to get to know you!!!
