You don't see the hitter immediately go after the catcher, who called for the pitch, very often. ...batter had homered last time up.

why he go at the catcher instead of pitcher?

not intentional! abreu is not a dirty pitcher.

Maldonado called the inside pitch and Abreu knew his assignment. thats my theory.

@@redbrrdz7423 higha and in. that's how they pitch to him. low and away is how he hit the hr earlier in the game. they were trying to jam him inside. i'm torn in this series because i'm Texan. lol

@@louie115 Very true. I think Abreu has good control. You need that if you are a set-up man/closer. Looking at his arm slot on release, it doesnt look right at all. No way his arm slot was THAT far off. You know what i mean?

@@redbrrdz7423 hard to say. only a 3 - 2 score did not warrant a hit though. not sure why maldonado would call a hit on him. all the commentators are saying the same thing. no reason to hit him. but its useless now. astros won. only thing now is game suspension for abreu. hopefully his appeal will be accepted. but we'll see.

Rules need to be changed to be more like hockey. If 2 grown men wanna throw hands, let em till it goes to the ground. No more bench clearing.
