Benchmade 535-4 Aluminum Bugout

I have a couple of different bugouts, this is the one i carry daily. I like all my knives, but this one just really speaks to me. Its just beautifully aesthetic and pleasing to the eye. I have the 535-3 both mini and full size, but the aluminum just has my heart. A functional piece of art.

Not sure how old this video is but at Shot Show 2023 Benchmade announced a lot of new color combinations for the Bugouts. Odd there's only one scale colour for the -4....Why not offer "Benchmade blue...orange....red....olive green.........cerekoted blade....black, FDE (flat dark earth....USMC desert tan colour)... As for the -3...how about blue barrel spacers, switch, screws? :)

Hello, received mine in France. But after observing the edge in x80 magnification, I noticed that it was not regular. Several irregular micro teeth all along. Everything is back to normal after sharpening. I ask myself the question: is this normal for the game BENCHMADE. I received ZERO TOLERANCE, RUIKE, CIVIVI and I did not have this kind of problem.

Hey papy , BM is growing a lot so they have been having some QC issues , their saving grace is they always fix it right away . I still have no problems with them , I'm sorry this happened to you

Ugh. I’ve never understood the love for the Bugout. I’ve seen gas station knives that look better. I passed over one for a Bailout. Way better knife out of the box. Hell, Spyderco Para 3 is a better knife.

Honestly neither have I, I only have the -3 carbon fiber and the -4 aluminum , I like the premium materials but I don't even own a reg bugout , unimpressed with them

@@ScoopsTV 4 times I went to my favorite knife store meaning to pick up a spyderco but each time I left with a benchmade. I just can't master opening them. weak hands after 400+ days in hospital over 5 years. some knives require hand strength

Benchmade has become overhyped and overpriced. So many companies making better values, when will Benchmade get this?

I agree somewhat , there are companies offering great value , but benchmade is still using all American labor and products , other companies using the same are more expensive

Protech makes great knives for about the same money. And very well made. I own three Benchmade but many other knives just as good or better for about the same money.

@@butchcassidy3373 as do I, about the same money ....quality is expensive they are all good products...on BM blue class you are getting , m390, s90v , premium steels , carbon fiber , aircraft aluminum . Check out , Medford or other high end American made knives

Best bugout if you want to turn a knife that should be worth $30 into a $50 knife. Btw this guy sounds and looks like he eats skin.. human skin

Is that supposed to be an insult ? M390 is a premium steel it is very expensive .Milling aircraft grade aluminum requires expensive machinery and highly skilled labor , both of which are not cheap .especially since all the parts and labor are American. Stop wasting your time with 30$ knives
