I was just checking out both of those stores. I can't find pivot screws or axis locks in red. Those are the only things I cant find. If I can get them in red, I'm gonna do it. If I can't I'll go with blurple. That's the one color I found everything I want.

It looks great! 940 is 1 of my favorite knives of all time. The 3 screws look good, if they dont cause any irritation to your hand I would leave them. I like the bugout clip on it. Looks great as is. 🍻

i dont like the screws in the extra pocket clip holes. just my .02 c I do approve the clip. I used a black deep bug out clip on mine.Im installing a rockscale designes bronze backspacer on my 940 -02 today

That came out super nice. Well done! I also quite like the 3 screws on the end. As for the pocket clip, I like the idea of both. I think I’d have to have it in my hands to see if I wanted to switch them out, but I don’t think it looks bad.

I’m just seeing this vid now...I have to say that before you commented on the 3 filler screws I was confused as to why it looked so busy...also I don’t like how they don’t sit flush. I think I would like them removed if it were my knife. In the end it’s all personal preference.

I’m not positive. I think they are, but they could possibly be aluminum? Probably steel though.

I think it looks awesome if ur not sure on the filler screws use the factory black ones to keep the holes plugged and clean up the look best of both worlds still saving for my own 940 can't wait keep up the good work

I know this is old but if you truly want to deck that out I would get the blade coated along with the axis lock and add a longer deep carry pocket clip all matching the hardware color!

Cool video, earned a subscription. I've purchased from that same eBay seller a number of times and the quality is always outstanding! As far as pocket clips go, i prefer a darker clip, it doesn't scream "I have a knife in my pocket!"

I’d swap that pocket clip out for a satin one that matches the blade and lockbar and contrasts the scales. And keep the three screws, they add a little flair that you never see

Yeah me to I have been swapping most of my black clips for satin. The black wears off .satin turns kinda bronze. And Don't wear off. And of course they are free form benchmade. Would look much better with your screws Kerry

Geared Toward Gear do yourself a favor: buy a bunch of small ziplock bags from a craft store or shipping place, and label them with a sharpie. I keep tons of random parts in my toolbox, but they’re all labeled so I can figure out what they go to.

The pocket clip looks good the way you have it now but hey, why not try it with the other one for a while and see how you like it or maybe even go with a polished satin one to match the blade and lock studs... Let me also say that I respect any reason a person has for not owning a particular brand, but what I respect even more is that although you don’t personally buy Benchmade, that you can still be civil and offer honest feedback. As one of "the poors" I wish I could spend $50 just to mod a knife haha. I tend to keep knives as stock with the exception of changing blade angle or maybe removing coatings on the blade. Anyhow, I do think it looks busy in the back with the screws but I like the practical application. For myself I'd likely keep them but it would catch my mind's attention if I were looking over the knife. A matte black pocket clip would be cool but it'd be interesting to continue to gold furniture trend with the pocket clip. However I think that'd defeat the point of a deep carry clip and just make it purely a show knife. Thanks for the video, peace

Do you know if the adrenaline bronze or brass matches the bronze from rockscale design? I have a Backspacer from rock scale design, but want to get other hardware from adrenaline

What’s up man. If I remember correctly the Rockscale bronze is lighter than a lot of other bronze, almost gold-ish. I’d probably go with brass. Adrian’s brass is more gold, his bronze is more brown. What hardware are you planning to get? If it’s like $30 worth of body screws for example I’d spend the extra money & get both colors that way you can pick which one you prefer. If you’re getting a $100+ full set I’d go w/ brass.
