Well I jumped on it! PNW weather? Durable, corrosion resistant, I feel run with that “spider” knife salt series! Plus they have a series of knives that complement a salt water environment. I love the drop point blade! This is a great buy! Can’t wait for mine to arrive! Keep it up Benchmade!

Definitely an improvement in their packaging. The Mini Adira and the Intersect are the best looking knives of this new water series. I voted on EDC4Fun’s poll before this and I also voted for the Adira (but I have a Manix 2). This is definitely what I’d have gone with from the series.

For me, the mini is perfect! But truthfully, I haven’t handled the regular size. But I tend to stick with knives around this size. I hope if you get one you really like it!

Does this one feel good in the hand? Someone said the way it hooks on the end of the handle can be sort of a hotspot when you wrap your whole hand around it. Does this happen for you? Thanks for the great video!

I don’t experience that when I grip it. But everyone’s hands are different. I’m left handed so I did flip the pocket clip after the video.

Maybe im really uniformed, but would a knife that runs on omega springs, with how often ive seen them fail, really be able to "withstand the harshest elements"? Serious question. I like this knife more than usual Benchmade stuff.

I think it could be a valid concern. Each person’s use I think is going to dictate what kind of “harsh elements” it will have to withstand. I have about six Benchmade knives that run on omega springs. I wouldn’t consider myself a hard user by any means, but I’ve yet to have one break. Anytime you introduce more moving parts there’s always a chance of something going wrong. If it’s something you really like I guess you’ll have to decide if that will be a dealbreaker for you.

The crooked river is one that I have never tried yet. I hear so many good things about it. Someday, if I can find a decent deal on it, I would love to pick one up.

These are nice except the pocket clip is standard steel and will rust quickly in a saltwater environment.

Too expensive. Benchmade has gotten out of control with their pricing. I won’t support that. This is a nice piece but until Their prices become “reasonable” I’m not buying them. This is coming from someone who has Benchmade older models

I have felt that way about some of their recent models that have come out. For me, this one fell into a little bit more of the reasonable bracket. It’s not inexpensive that’s for sure. But for right at about $200 for something that I like, for me it was worth it.
