I'm 2 years late to this review. I love my barrage. I've had it for a few years and it's one of my favorite knives. Holds an edge extremely well. It's a toss up between my spyderco manix and the barrage. Depends how I'm feeling that day. Great review man!

Same. My work knife are two Manix 2's, one S30V with AWT scales and a LW in REX45. Picked up this knife for $50 from a guy and its a decent knife. Only thing i worry about is the omega springs, and how hard it is to close one handed

I own a few benchmade knives and i love this one the most. I have a benchmade rift, contego, a 940, a couple griptillians, a bugout and a casbah auto. I honestly love the barrage the best.

G10 handle on this knife (and the mini barrage too) feels so nice. Very solid in hand. I love mine so much. A little big for EDC but i carry mine often anyway. Perfect size for my hands. And i have mini barrage g10 as well. Very nice assisted knifes. Love them both.

One of my favorite EDC knives is the Boost by Benchmade, which is essentially the same as the Barrage set-up, but different blade profile and the Kraton / FRN handle. For all those who don't like this knife as an assisted opener, I have to say that it basically fires like an auto whose "button" is a thumbstud. Very fast to deploy out of the pocket. Added a deep carry to mine. Yes, close mine on outside of my leg and no mishaps thus far... Great review! 😁🗡️😁

Once u master the one hand closing on assisted knife..it will become more pleasing fidget than the regular axis 😁

The reason why you can lock the axis while open, since this is a tactical knife or outdoors, they didn’t want it to close , basically just a mind of safety

Have lot of Benchmade knives, but none assisted....kinda not into them since in Texas we can carry autos with no restriction. Sorry for everyone in states with people that are afraid of knives. Thanks for the video.

I have several Benchmades. I own the Infidel and prefer the strength of the "Standard" designs. My Indidel is nice and all, but the Griptilian and the Barrage are just as fast and a lot stronger.

I like the way this thing looks. But I am not a fan of assisted open or safeties. At of folks love them and it seems to be well made.

The safety will also lock the blade open, thats the only good thing about it to me. With the spine locked the Axis lock will not allow the blade to be closed. Basically makes it the closest thing to a fixed blade.
