Benchmark battery test, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Honor Magic V3 Global, Z Fold 6, Iphone 15, Nubia Z60 Ultra

As a Samsung AND Honor user, I keep trying to explain to people that these battery tests that don't go down to zero, don't mean anything. Samsung is pretty much done when it comes to 15%... at 10% you're counting when its gonna turn off. However, with honor you can get through a quarter of a day with 15%. Battery goes slowly and uniformly till 0% so I am using it comfortably even at 5% knowing that it won't be off very soon.

Yeah this is true. Some China phones can stay at one percent for a ridiculous amount of time. Doing these tests to zero is tricky. Sub standard equipment, this is just a quick test. Future tests do need to be to zero

On first opening the package there is absolutely no crease at all! Nothing. I kid you not. It's amazing. But the crease is definitely there now lol.

The google is efficient, great news, finally. It's a really nice phone too, an iPhone with Android on it lol. It's huge. Did I say it's huge? Cause it is lol. The V3's, China one has the better cpu and the global has the better gpu, slightly, silicone lottery. I original wanted to go to dead batteries on the test but things got in the way. You're so right about batteries evaporating when they're low, may try again 🤔 thanks for your comment, appreciated.

Is the inner V3 screen that yellow to your eye, or is that just the camera? Wondering if there is a setting to adjust that.

Oh apologies 😂 the China one? That's a matte screen protector I've put on there. No more fingerprints but you do lose that jet black screen

Z fold 6. Great battery life, supreme software but poor camera. Vivo X Fold 3 pro, best camera and battery, heavy though, another contender for the best, but Judy so so software V3 amazingly thin, great battery, great camera, OK software. Basically I can't make up my mind lol.

I had the z fold 6. Superb performance, fast and no laggy issue since owning it, great multi tasking, superb on gaming, battery was ok and camera was ok for a regular person and I could feel the power of the snapdragon 8 gen 3 chip. My only gripe was the narrow cover screen and that's the reason why I returned it. It was not comfortable typing on the cramp screen. I am missing it though.

Cheers for the comparison vid! Good advert for Tensor G4 efficiency, if not performance. China V3 seemed to have slight edge on performance over Global V3, presume due to more ram? Fold 6 solid all round, they really have eeked out more from their small battery from optimisation I guess. Any chance of a full battery drain to zero? Sometimes some phones can "catch up" or fall behind as the battery depletes. On my fold4 the last 30% disappears in a heartbeat!

Yes I'm suprised with some of the results. I did think of a drain test till zero, I might 🤔 it's more difficult than it looks lol but yeah, you're so right on that last bit of battery disappearing like a ghost

Yes, for normal phone use, texting, browsing, phones calls. But if you use it for games, battery will drain fast! Nubia seems to just let all the power of that phone be used for high intense tasks!

Ah sorry I no longer have to China V3. The only differences I saw was proper google implementation, so nice. So apart from Chinese elements in the options like satellite calls which were only available in China differences were... Honor board vs Google discover - Android auto on global - Yoyo assistant vs Google assistant/gemini - Both had bloat, loads of China bloat and global has Facebook, insta, booking.com and a few others, less bloat than China software though - You can also change the launcher in global version. Can't on China version -

I don't know what Samsung did, but it's really good for such a small battery! Their screens must be super efficient
