Benchmarking the GTX 780 - Was Asus's 2013 $600 Mainstream GPU any good then, and is it still now?

Up for our consideration today is this gorgeous ASUS Poseidon Geforce GTX 780. Aside from looking really awesome, this is, at its core, a vanilla 3Gig Geforce GTX 780 with a hybrid block strapped to it. This is a test using several well known fairly modern and legacy titles. I did my best to test the GPU in its native habitat, as it where, meaning using period correct parts, in this case a 4790K with 32Gigs DDR3 ram
