I agree that this preseason player acquisition is everything, however, it’s now signings by committee, not just Getz. He knows he needs Venable and other’s insights, unlike just Larussa before.

Exactly, I don’t really blame him for dumpster diving and finding scraps but Chris has to nail the Crochet trade, 2-3 quality position players(OF preferred) plus a low tier pitching prospect.
