I actually played Taysom Hill in Flex the week he played against the Seahawks (picked him up off waivers), since half of my WRs were facing shutdown CB matchups and I only had him (recently picked up) and Kyle Pitts (yes, you can laugh). He ended up getting, like, 42 points that week, and pretty much singlehandedly won me my matchup there. Then proceeded to pick up, like, 2 points the next week when I played him at Flex again. -_-

Eli Apple was on an elite college team, and is a 7 yr veteran but never become the lockdown corner everyone hoped. But he's back on an Elite NFL club. Cooper Kupp, arguably the best WR of 2022 beat him when the chips were down. Not really burnt any worse than anyone else... wonder if Sauce Gardner could cover 2022 Kupp.

for me, it's Marcus Peters this season. From playing pretty mediocre and having multiple outbursts on the sideline it just has me pissed every time. Like in the Saints game, at the end an honest mistake happened where everyone on the defense thought he was out of bounds and he was in, resulting in a touchdown. the game was pretty much over, but instead of saying "my bad" and moving on or just chucking it to a mistake anyone would have done he freaks out on the sideline even though everyone was calm. Made the win not feel so good, honest okay if he leaves in free agency this off-season

Only reason I wouldn't consider Zach Wilson as one of the biggest busts ever, is because he wasn't considered to be that high of a pick, til hype trains started, that somehow convince teams to ignore everything else for that. Atleast with Leaf, JaMarcus, and even Rosen, they were considered top prospects almost the entire time. Meanwhile guys like Wilson and Trubisky, had one good college season, got super hyped up, and two dumb management teams took them way to high.

Eli Apple was by far ours, and likely the NFL's #1 player in regards to production over expectation AND production over cost. CB is the most difficult position on defense and thus one of the highest paid. - 2021 we paid Eli only 1.2M to play CB4, but due to injury he was forced to start every game at CB2 all the way to the Super Bowl. - 2022 we paid Eli only 2.9 M to play CB2, until Cam Taylor Britt was ready and Eli would go back to CB1. But due to injury he was forced to start at CB1 for 10 straight wins all the way to the AFC Title game, in which he played excellent and Bates gave up 2 TDs. Re-signing Burrow, Tee, Wilson and Chase the Bengals will need many more Eli Apple's that are cheap and can come off the bench in injury situations and play decently. If we had Eli Apple types at oline we would had been in the Super Bowl this past season. We have stupid fans like those on this comment section that don't know ball and embarrass themselves with stupid statements, especially ones like "he was burnt in the Super Bowl... Apple was forced to play 1 on 1 vs the very best WR in the game at the time? With OBJ out, Woods out, and their TE out we decide NOT to double team Kupp who torched every CB that season? That was stupid, but Eli also made several plays that put us in the Super Bowl, like the one vs Hill before the half in the AFCC game. We have stupid fans that are more concerned about his twitter than production.
