this game shows what baseball is suppose to be for kids good old fashion fun no matter what
@brocksampson3405 Жыл бұрын
I agree. But I will admit. Even though this shows what baseball is supposed to be like. Some films, television shows, public television and how people are overly competitive to the point of the jerk jock stereotype playing into it ( only if someone acts like a jerk like Jerry ) and all that seems to have steered that in the wrong direction for children when playing the sport. Or any sport for that matter. For children, yes, this is what baseball should be like. I did play baseball as a kid for a while but unfortunately. I didn't have a good time with it. For one, I hated losing, two, the team I was on were horrible, one or two coaches were not very nice. Sometimes once or twice a member of the other team was very cruel towards me and once baseball season was over and we no longer had to be playing or attending. I basically just wanted to never sign up for any sport ever again. You expect your own team or your own coach to be nice to you or be on your side of things. But it seems like they're only like that with you if you're their best player. I wasn't very good at the sport and I was treated very poorly. So you could say it led me to hate sports. I don't mind watching a sports comedy. But I just ended up hating all sports because of my bad experience with playing one. I agree that this film shows what baseball should be like for children. But it seems like entertainment, overly competitive people, and those who act like jerks have kind of ruined that for children who played the sport. So you do raise a point on what baseball should be like for children.

In little league with mismatched teams and kids who hit puberty early? It happens a fair amount… When you get a 11-12 year old throwing 70 MPH, pitching to a little league (very large) strike zone, and the hitters are used to 45-50 mph with no movement… Most kids aren’t even gonna get the bat on the ball. Besides, throwing a perfect game against a bunch of kids who’d never played? Is that really an achievement? It’s like a varsity football team against the freshmen, just less broken bones😂

Did the benchwarmers win? Why were they celebrating at the end?
@matadeverdoemden6 жыл бұрын
Street Spitzley Jerry bet that his team would shut out the Benchwarmers for the field. That means that if the Benchwarmers even score one point, it'll basically be over. That's why you hear Jerry threatening the pitcher that he won't play next season if he blew the shut-out, and you can hear Richie yell, "We did not get shut out" while everybody was running to the field.
