As someone who loves fast food and has been to Korea where Ben lives primarily… I sort of understand why Ben was so amazed here. Korea sucks when it comes to fast food unless it’s their signature fried chicken (which still isn’t even really “fast food”), but in terms of sauces, everything is just based on kimchi / gochujang / garlic. I tried Raising Cane's for the first time on December 14, 2024, and it became my favorite fried chicken tenders/strips. Along with the crinkled cut fries they are delicious. Some people say the chicken is mediocre but that's what chicken is supposed to taste if it hasn't been tampered too much via processing. I love Raising Cane's.

It's overpriced, but not too bad. The sauce tastes like mayo, ketchup, and black pepper mixed together but it's ok. The fries are crinkle cut, my least favorite cut. The toast isn't very buttery, also an issue for me.. Its filling and it's not bad. I just wish their main meal was $7.99. Not freakin $13.

I agree, but that's what makes Cane's a big miss for me. Yeah the sauce is fantastic, but I shouldn't have to rely on the sauce to save the entire restaurant/meal. The chicken is very mediocre. There are a lot more chains and local establishments that have MUCH better chicken tenders/fingers that don't rely on the sauce. It's never that crispy, the seasoning lacks, the fries also feel cheap/soggy/lackluster. This is coming from someone who used to be VERY fat because of my love for chicken 😆🤣 Literally Jack in the Box has better cheaper amazing tenders, Denny's is a shocking contender, I'm forgetting others but yeah. Those two giant chains outshine this very expensive mediocre limited regional chain.

Ben here's a tip if you want another piece of bread you are ordering and the meal that you get comes with slaw you can sub the slaw for toast but do this at your own risk, also if you want your bread to be a little crispier ask the cashier to B.O.B. your toast (Butter On Both sides) P.S you can sub the slaw for toast free of charge . One last tip is if you want your fries a little crunchier ask for your fries to be extra crispy this may make your fries a little oily but id rather crispy and oily than soggy and wet. I really liked this video keep up the good work!👍👍
