Nice. If I were to do it again, I'd use EVA foam. Easier to cut and shape, lighter, not as rigid, easier to paint, etc.

It was joint compound. Easy to sand/shape, but did make the head top heavy. If I ever decide to make Bender again, I'll use EVA foam.

Thank you so much for that quick answer!! Assuming I use EVA foam to also build a bender head, how do i close up the head tho? Would u use the same material?

For the head, I'd start with a dome pattern - Evil Ted sells one and others online. Once you have a dome that fits over your head, you can use it to calculate the dimensions for a cylinder. Then make the eye box/oval, cut/contour it to the head and glue it on for rigidity. Then cut the hole for the mouth (your visibility) Punished Props is making a Bender Car right now. You can probably get some inspiration and tips from those videos. Evil Ted, Punished Props, Oden Makes, etc.
