How about adding wheels to the back side as an upgrade ! Could it move easier in dry conditions? Just a suggestion I thought about it

How come the kit only comes with 3 bars when you need 4?

Depends on the brand, 3 is usually enough

picked up the pelican version of the runners on amazon for $27. worked just fine. my last sled only lasted 2 years with moderate use before it wore thru in spots.

If you use a drill bit thats a 1/16 smaller the bolts will thread through the hole, and stay in place instead of falling out. More sturdy and more importantly you can flip the sled over with the bolts falling out and put the nuts on
