I bought mine a year ago ,so far no problems wish I’d waited a bit longer because it’s nearly £1000 cheaper now at first the size was a bit intimidating but used to the height now, looks like Benelli have forgotten about this bike because of the lack of accessories available. It does need a radiator cover and a sump guard and definitely a rear tyre hugger because of the crap that flies up from the road. So a rear tyre hugger is really a must have accessory.

If they can produce these with no reliability issues and quality lasting parts, this is gonna cause SERIOUS issues for other bigger bike names.... manufacturers have raised the bike prices a lot to be fair, my new ZX10RR was just short of 24k. One of these would be awesome for loads of applications.

@ontheroadadventure7 ай бұрын
Interesting, both are great machines. What do you think of the triumph and why swap for the Benelli?
@Steph9nine7 ай бұрын
@@ontheroadadventure I'm very happy with the triumph. I actually do not any real complains. But on longer rides goin 120km/h it's getting up to 7000/7500 rpm. Not a real issue but I think the leo wil be a bit more in the comfort zone. Also the power of the scrambler is enough. Very nicely balanced. Even in the low rpm's. But that leo just looks the part and I think the power combined with the bigger engine is gonna give me more comfort for longer rides and trips.

Thats fair to say, the Leo will be better for longer touring id say. Also Check out the Benelli TRK models, both very good bikes

Yes I think that would be a good idea, it also wants a fender extender and rad cover, the radiator looks a bit open to stones being flicked up from the front tyre and making holes

I bought mine new in 2022 and did 9000Km the first year , last year I bought a KTM 890R and so I only did 2000Km on the Benelli last year , it is a good bike and fun to ride and I had no problems at all after 11000Km , the only thing is the weight , it is a heavy bike for it's size , if it was 20Kg lighter it would be an amazing bike .

Does anyone know if it’s possible to change the rear tyre with the standard one? Same model of tyres of course but with the sizing of the standard model.. cause the trail version mounts a 170 rear while the standard one has a 180. So my question is if you could change it no prob since the size of the rim is the same for both models. Cheers

The Benelli TRK 702 has a different engine with 180 degree crank offset like in the Versys or CB500 engine. The Leoncino has a 270 degree crank offset which makes it sound like a 90 degree V2. If you want to save some money get the QJ SRT 700 which is technically identical with the TRK 702 but cheaper. Benelli quality: Since 2020 my son owns a 2018 Leoncino 500 and so far has done about 15000 k on it. This poor bike is ridden all year round, also on salty roads, gets zero maintenance or care but is technically and optically in very good condition. Zero issues or rust, starts every time at the first revolution, even after months of not being used. I'm impressed. The suspension is also a bit too hard, though.
@ontheroadadventure Жыл бұрын
People who own these Benelli motorcycles all seem to have good feedback on them. How have you found parts availability?
@thestonegateroadrunner7305 Жыл бұрын
@@ontheroadadventure So far only a lost coolant expansion tank cap and a lost handlebar end weight was needed. The delivery time for the weight was a week. But the dealer simply removed it from a display model so it could be replaced immediately. As the next Benelli dealer is about 90 minutes away from our residence this was a nice service. To save the drive to the Dealer we tried to find the expansion tank cap online. In my research I realised that Benelli used many parts standard also in other italian bikes e.g. the expansion tank cap is identical to the corresponding Ducati part. In general the biggest issue in Germany is the too low density of dealers. Since I'm only 1 hour from the italian border the solution for this issue is easy for me. But as said, the Leoncino 500 is rock solid and understressed, both engine and the structure, I don't think we need any unplanned trips to a dealer any time soon. P.S. After the motorcycle fell over also a clutch lever was needed. Ordered online. Was delivered within a few days.

If you had asked me a year ago to buy a Benelli, I would have laughed I was always a bit unsure of shying away from the big brands Its similar to the bird at school who you sort of fancied but your mates would have laughed at you if you had taken her out The bike scene has got to change now due to the other overpriced brands and this bike at that price just cannot be ignored The problem is the Big brands will always bad mouth these bikes to who ever mentions them, as they feel threatened by them £7200 is a lot of bike for the money Nice video again What camera is that on the bars please

I have to agree, when I bought my Africa twin I would never have entertained buying a benelli. Completely different engine than the TRK702. The engine in the TRK702 is the CFmoto 700 engine (692 cc). I was eager to see the TRK 702 but when I saw it at motorcycle live I was rather disappointed with it and not to mention it incredibly heavy and i found the switch gear very cheap. I'd seen some ex demos of the Benellis at my local dealer and they where alreay showing signs of rust which put me right off them which is a shame as I'd had high hopes.
