Exclusive review of the 2015 DSK Benelli TNT 1130R. We find out on what gives this Italian legend its "More than a Motorcycle" aura
@Gloomshadow10010 жыл бұрын
aaah yeah.. great review. "Imperfection" adds character, and character adds to a riders experience, you learn stuff, it adds to the whole event of riding a motorcycle, I love bikes that are "raw" without any "idiot proofing"... you guys said it correctly, the Japanese are getting very "clinical".. the bikes are becoming too "sanitary".

Back here motorcycles are used to deliver every damn thing. And these deliveries happen on tiny scooters with the rider navigating, throttling, and carrying the plastic bag for food! So butter chicken is only a signal away! Is that the case there as well ;)
@Gloomshadow10010 жыл бұрын
PowerDrift hahahah.. I LOVE butter chicken.. I cook indian food here.. we got Indian markets and the girls that work there give me lessons on how to do it. I got Ghee, I got Masla mixes, Paneer... First of all, its amazing this video doesnt have at least 100,000 views by now. I mean you guys can easily put other Indian road testers on the sidewalk. Your guys are ridiculously underrated. Special mention to the video editing team - you guys are the baus! About the bike though, it looks fantastic but why is it under powered compared to, well even other Italians? The Panigale 1198 gives 200 bhp. The very German BMW S1000RR has 190+, similar to other Japanese bikes. So why does this have 153 bhp? Could be because its just too much displacement for a 3 cyl mill.
@powerdriftofficial10 жыл бұрын
Manu Vyas Well, you can tap the Share button and we can inch closer to your target! :P The Panigale and the S1000RR are fully faired bikes unlike the 1130R. Imagine going at 250kmph will your body taking the blast of the oncoming wind.
@Gloomshadow10010 жыл бұрын
It is not just "numbers" .. Triples have their own characteristics vs. Twins and Fours. The power delivery is not the same and the human nervous system can only deal with so much. These are not Laptops where you put in a faster processor and it goes faster, just because a motorcycle has more power and more theoretical speed it doesn't mean that you can actually ride it faster than the pilot is able to ride. What I am getting at is this, 153hp is enough to race against 190hp and still have a good chance of winning, the main factor is going to be the rider , the handling of the bike and the track.
@CaptainTShirt10 жыл бұрын
Gloomshadow100 yes of course more power means more things to manage. I can tell from personal experience that a naked bike just feels 'faster' than a fully faired bike. Could be because of the lack of weight or just the wind. I havent been lucky enough to ride on a track until now. I hope i can soon :-D thanks for the response. cheers! :-)
@Gloomshadow10010 жыл бұрын
Manu Vyas on a short twisty or more complicated run, a naked can be faster because the handlebars are wider, pegs lower and you sit higher on the bike.. this allows you to put more "bite" on the bike and flick it right to left with less effort, similar to a dirt bike. Super Sports put you lower into the chassis with shorter clip on handlebars and higher pegs, you are scrunched up into a little ball in comparison. This gives you more stability at higher speeds in straights but to fick it though tight turns it is going to require more effort and "Body English", this can translate into "going slower" because after a while it can wear you out. Rider fatigue both mental and physical is always a factor. But remember what I have just said is a generalization, each rider/bike combination is going to have different results in the real world. Example, I may be able to jump on this 153hp Benelli and ride it better and faster than I could on say a 195hp EBR 1190RX.. there is just no way to know until you actually ride on them for a while and get to know them, recording "times" and all that.

I rode this today....m 21 years old n this was my 1st superbike. Before this the most powerful bike i had ridden was a continental gt 535. I want to share my experience a bit. Well the 1 word which defines this bike was scary. Properly scary! I didnt go above 2 gear.....i could not as there was no need to.....the bike had a clutch only a body builder could pull....the throttle was jerky as hell. And the bike was stupid fast until it reacher arnd 7 or 8 thousand rpms cuz after that it was like pissing a polar bear in a cage with you in it. Fortunately the grip was excellent and the brakes did there job well. But seriously, you dont need money to buy this bike....many people have the money...u need shear riding skills. The fact that some1 is riding that bike is enough for me to respect his/her riding skills let alone slaying it like in this video! Amazing man....this is the 4th time i am watching this video and the 1st time after riding tnt1130 and i have a whole new perspective of looking at this now!
