Day 8 of training here in Iten, Kenya and today was a rest day which is very much part of the kenyan training program. We made the most of the opportunity by visiting the Lake Nakuru National park. I don’t know if it’s watching you in Kenya / new setting’s that make this Vlog series so interesting or if it’s watching you in Kenya and your personal progression that you so deserve that makes these Vlogs interesting or maybe it’s a bit of both. Big things Ben no one can question your hard work and willingness to push your self to progress. Keep up the madness brother 👊🏻

Great series man! I was wondering if u could a video about your approach to nutrition and eating enough overall. I struggle with knowing how much energy I need during training coz I really can’t be arsed to track calories etc but don’t want to risk injury by being in an unintended energy deficit.

What an experience Ben, really fascinating. Good to hear you're acclimatising to the altitude and getting in lost of varied training. Have you found that your body feels different running more on dirt paths? Is your recovery better/bones less pounded by the terrain or do the ankles get challenged more with the uneven conditions underfoot?

Hey Ben! New runner here. Trying to progress past some ITB pain. I've been following this series closely and been surprised I haven't seen any serious focused stretching as part of the training. Is it not something they focus on? Thank you!
