All credit to the Bengals defense. There is a bunch of narrative about playing a team a 3rd time in a season. Ravens showed they can win with defense all season so for the Bengals offense to struggle isn't a fresh take. Expect the offense to surge against the upcoming matchups. I'd be concerned about the fabulous rookie of last year missing a freakin extra point.

None of the AFC teams and especially their QBs looked good this weekend. I wouldn't give the Bengals, Bills or Jags much hope of beating Mahomes and the Chiefs but i expect the Bengals vs Chiefs AFC title game, and then anything can happen.

@Andy Spaeth Well the problem with that theory is Burrows on a rookie contract right now. Brady didn't help the Pats out til his second veterans contract. Not only has the QB market been re set...45 million a year minimum and he's making 9 million this season. But so has the WR market with Hills 30 million a year deal. You can't pay 3 guys 50% of your cap space and keep a quality roster. Some tough choices are gonna have to be made.

Not each match up was the same and the jags didn’t play a good defense in the chargers which was the comparison Nick brought up. Ravens have a legit Defense and we’re on their back up qb. We don’t know what happens if Lamar plays but with how the defense played I get why the team would feel that way. Better team won yesterday though. It’s the same problem I had with Jimmy G. It doesn’t matter how good he is if he’s not healthy. Lamar plays a style of football that puts him at increased risk of getting injured, so obviously his team would have increased hesitancy to sign him to a large long term contract.

First of all, it's no accident or fluke what the Bengals defense has done in the playoffs the past two years. Second of all, the Ravens were the Bengals absolute worst match up of the entire playoff bracket. Tough division opponent that knows them too well with by far the best defense. An offensive team like the Bengals cause two things... Since the opponent feels they have to go more pass and they have to keep up and take shots. 1. Higher passing numbers 2. Higher turnovers. The second cause the team presses to score, throw the ball deep into coverage, reach out over the goal and get the ball slapped out of your hands. The Ravens handled this perfectly. He's another RG3. He will drop off so hard and soon. They can either sell out for a SB in the next 2 years or think long term. Good on the Ravens. I also hate the Ravens so I might be bias.

Skylar Thompson is trash and the Ravens defense would devour him. The Ravens defense has also improved a lot since that game with the addition of Roquan Smith and a bunch back from injury.

If I'm the Ravens I offer him a deal, if he doesn't accept it, let him walk. HE IS INCONSISTENT. The guy has the entire offense built around him and can't win. He can't throw, and his play style is dangerous. Use the money to fill the holes on D, and get a veteran QB, or one in the draft. All they need is a game manager.

@@aaronsmith6388 The last game was not as close as the score was, the Bengals should've gotten at least 14 more points in that game, 1 wide open td was dropped (by a guy that had 0 drops in the season before that and 0 after), 1 td called back because of a penalty, and should've kicked a field goal instead of going for it on 4th down. You're probably going to try to use the argument of "what if Kelce didn't fumble" but that was forced, not like he just dropped it, and the Bengals force fumbles in every game when they need a turnover and my reasons had nothing to do with the Chiefs preventing them from scoring.
