BBMP does a very shoddy job with respect to repair of roads. The patchwork is terrible and we are back to square one with potholes. Just because DK shiv Kumar threatened merciless action they have half heartedly filled the pot holes. There is so much unattended garbage lying on roads and no accountability whatsoever!

Instead of the ambitious 25000 crores tunnel road etc., the government should look at maintaining the existing roads at miniscule of that cost. They absolutely don't care about the roads. Make the roads potholes free and smooth. This will help the traffic to disperse faster and reduce it.

Way too much corruption at all levels with respect to both govts especially in bangalore. Be it BjP or congress. Both have done nothing much with this traffic situation and better roads.

Bengalore is a dying city. 1. There are only a handful of cities in India which offer a good job, hence, a lot of pressure because of migration is put on these few cities, Bengaluru would be probably the first or second city in this list. 2. Because of influx, the cities infrastructure is not able to cope up at all. Roads are narrow and filled with potholes with iron bars coming out of the roads. Traffic is seemingly the worst here compared to any other India city. And probably the most dangerous too. You have to be very careful while driving here. 3. Natural resources are declining. Water will become scarce in few years. The wheather is not the same anymore as well. More and more forest patches are being cleared in my area which ealier used to act as catchments for rainwater. 4. Corruption is rampant. I don't see anything getting solved soon or someone even thinking about it. 5. The downfall of the city is making the locals hostile towards immigrants. I notice incidents of violence with racial undertones on roads. I notice the local shopkeepers getting annoyed when you talk to them in Hindi. The police try to harras you if you are not a local. There's a special hate towards delhite. The immigrants are to blame as well because of their ignorance. Bengaluru is a potential breeding ground for violence which can erupt in a few years if the problems are not solved immediately. The city has its fun but it is stressful to live here especially because there's no place else to go.

@@bunnydaniel The local corporators are at the low end of politicians. They don’t make much money as they don’t get funding. So they take a monthly amount and let these vendors thrive. Corporators and traffic police are solely responsible for this.

Well funded channels. You can try, the companies will not move to Gujarat

Lol. Whoever lives in Bangalore knows the state of the infrastructure. You travel in any direction from the center of the city , the road infrastructure is ridiculous.
