Nice review. I've had my 22 Trailhawk (Velvet Red, fully loaded and V6 engine) since 22 July and could not be happier. I've had it on a few trails already, as well as a nice road trip along the East Coast (Northern Virginia (NOVA) to Pawley's Island, SC and back). It's an incredible place to spend a short drive or a long drive, and everything in between. I thought I was going to regret "settling" for this when I decided I was done waiting for the Bronco Badlands (full size) I reserved in August 2020 (though I've not yet let go of the reservation), but any regret disappeared the moment I drove my Trailhawk. BTW, the night vision camera in the Trailhawk (part of the ProTech Group II package) is no joke. It saved me twice on my back to NOVA from SC while moving at highway speed on I95 north, well before I spotted the deer (both times) on the highway. Definitely NOT just a gimmick.

That V6 Jeep engine has proven reliability. Anything attached to the engine or in the engine compartment is another matter.

2022 JGC Trailhawk is the first and the last non plugin hybrid Trailhawk. If you want a new WL74 (Gen 5) Trailhawk that burns regular gas and has an inch more ground clearance than the hybrid, your only choice is the 2022.

For the previous generation (GC WK) I thought all trim levels looked really good. For this generation, the softer lines of the GC makes this Trailhawk trim look out of place. The wheels and giant hood decal make this trim look cheap.

We’ve had our 2022 GC Trailhawk for a month. Love it! Perfect combination of tech, off road capability fit/finish and comfort. The only complaint, a subtle but annoying knock sound coming from the drivers side front wheel area over small bumps. We’ll take it in for service, hope it’s something that can be easily fixed.

Had that same issue. Just last month Jeep in NJ changed out both air struts and the whole sway bar mechanism under warranty. I read a lot about complaints about the front knock issue on the 22's.

I always rent Jeep if I'm going to road trips it's very nice to drive, but I'm afraid to own it because of bad reviews regarding quality and reliability.... base on consumer reviews it has electronics issues the car won't start...consumer reviews has number 1 returns in the car industry, this is a red flag on quality and performance....I wish they improve the quality...
