sorry you had a bad experience Ben. I have the 2024 bronco raptor which I use in alaska, highways and off road trails/logging roads. Its the most amazing off-roader. Take that from someone who has the f150 raptor and have had the Toyota landcriser, Range Rover and armada. the bronco has excellent suspension, ride precision handling with excellent turn circle for tight narrow trail roads. Because it has a short wheel base you have to watch it on high speed of roads turns and catch it if it oversteers ( a problem with any sort wheel base vehicle). I can tell you it can do more than I can possibly drive it. Overall I have been very impressed with it. If I did not have the chance to use it on alaska in various conditions I probably wold not have known how special and seeing this vehicle is, it truly shines in extreme conditions which you wuld not know from regular driving. It is very comfortable what it is designed to do. So far it is reliable with no electrical issues. Is it overpriced yes, but its an amazing machine coming out of th factory. The depreciation is painful for sure but that's because of what you described in your video. Its more fun than the f150 raptor for sure.

I agree with everything you said here. Automotive consumer price index (CPI) is still at parabolic highs and will soon gain speed with a return to the mean and potentially further (lower MSRP's). Everything moves in cycles and this cycle started in March/April 2021 with the markup shenanigans and then peaked in Sept '23. Automakers and dealers think they live in a different reality and they will try to convince you that prices will never come back down. It's a lie. Why? It's just part of the cycle. Thanks for your honest opinion of the Braptor!

Interesting analysis of why they aren’t selling but I think the exact answer is somewhere in the rambling of the video. Specifically for the reasons that you mentioned why you didn’t like yours. It’s just too big for most people and could be seen as con for off-roading. When you factor in the price, it’s a no for most people. On the other hand the other Bronco trims are definitely becoming popular. I see them everywhere. I’ve never seen a Bronco Raptor. Lastly, there a various off road SUVs that are currently overpriced and I suspect given a few years they will depreciate in value just like this Raptor. For example the new Landcruiser and Granadier. Way overpriced for what you get.

There’s no difference between the jeep 392 depreciation in the bronco raptor, and since I’ve owned both I do prefer the bronco raptor especially when you make your own settings on the performance modes it comes to life, I know some people think it feels big but it’s not, the more saddle time you put in the more you get used to it, on the road in the proper modes it’s awesome it also tows a small trailer incredible much better than a Jeep, I agree on the cost of everything these days it’s completely out of hand go try to buy a 1 ton truck they’re over $100,000 it’s ridiculous, but there’s nothing on the market that you can purchase right now that comes off the shelf and basically is ready to go off Roading, and on road manners it handles so good and is so comfortable and it’s extremely fun to drive, if you’re comparing power for example the jeep 392 yes the 392 is quicker but not that much quicker off the line on the bottom the 392 is quicker but runs out quickly, where are the bronco raptor makes up for the difference. Off-road if someone is only rock crawling then jeep is the way to go but if you want to just get out and enjoy and go anywhere pretty much you want the bronco raptor it’s the way to go especially on long trips and you can do some simple modifications to it for example installing a winch getting a couple more inches of ground clearance different offset wheels and more aggressive tires and it becomes awesome, you could not build a vehicle with this suspension etc. for the cost of what you could get one for.

Right now guarantee Ford Motor Company is studying every inch of their now extra cheaped out Ford Maverick as that item *IS* Ford Motor Company going on all Year 2024 and going forward. Whole Industry of Detroit has no idea how lucky they are not to be Toyota at the moment...but that's about it for this huge massive Global Industry that for some reason still hasn't discovered the insane price gouging that can commence upon putting a small diesel engine inside this same said product reviewed here ... plus the depreciation will not be *NEARLY* as staggering were that to be an option...no different from Jeep either duly noted. Why someone would ever put an insanely engineered computer system in a vehicle designed specifically for off roading is beyond me as couldn't the wireless charging pad and a free cell phone with purchase suffice?...but again...Jeep does the same thing. Ye Olde *"add two more door and double the price!"* thing never made much sense either.
